Erick Leal fue el encargado de abrir la contienda y se mantuvo imbatible en los cinco episodios que estuvo en la loma, entregando el relevo a Henderson Álvarez quién también logró el cero, fueron seis innings donde la ofensiva bengalí solo pudo conectar dos imparables.
La situación fue aprovechada por el madero naval en el segundo tramo, con una carrera impulsada por Maikel Serrano y anotada por Renato Núñez, y en cuarto episodio, con tres anotaciones más.
Los aragüeños descontaron una carrera en el séptimo con cuadrangular del valenciano Wilson Ramos al relevista José Martínez, pero rápidamente el golpe fue devuelto en la parte baja con dos anotaciones que sellaron el compromiso.

Henderson Álvarez y Anthony Vizcaya volvieron a cumplir en el relevo y gracias a ellos la mejor ofensiva del campeonato no pudo anotar en ocho episodios.
Las carreras de Magallanes fueron empujadas por Maikel Serrano en el quinto tramo con un soberbio vuelacercas por el center y las dos de Caracas llegaron en el epílogo de esta historia, cuando el cerrador, Bruce Rondón, estaba en la lomita y la defensa se complicó para sacar el out veintisiete.

El descanso no planificado le terminó cayendo muy bien a un equipo que no ganaba de manera seguida desde el 27 de octubre, cuando venció a Caribes y venía de ganarle a Tigres la noche anterior.
Aunque una de las claves y la que más destaque en el post fue la reivindicación de Serrano, no podemos dejar pasar por alto el hecho de que ambos abridores cumplieron con al menos un juego legal sin recibir anotaciones, cosa que esta liga últimamente se ha visto muy poco. El relevo también destacó, aunque en un par de parpadeos las tres carreras, se puede decir que igualmente fue muy positivo.
En estos dos juego todo le salió relativamente bien al manager, pero vamos a ver si podrá extender la buena racha por primera vez en la temporado por encima de las dos victorias, cuando visite este domingo "el nido" de Cardenales de Lara.

Pienso que influyó mucho el picheo, tal como lo señalas porque si a las cuentas nos vamos, el Magallanes solo hizo 3 carreras. tan pocas que en el ultimo inning el Caracas tuvo la del empate a 90 pies del home. Por eso destaco mucho más el buen pitcheo. Muy buena tu publicación.
Claro, tienes razón, especialmente ese juego fue muy cerrado y el pitcheo mantuvo a raya a la ofensiva del Caracas, aunque el último inning fue complicado para el cerrador debido mayormente a los errores, porque de no ser por esa mala jugada del tercera base quizás estuviéramos hablando de la blanqueada.
