Hola amigos de @Hive, el día de ayer se llevó a cabo las semifinales masculinas, en la jornada tenística de mayor competitividad del Abierto de los Estados unidos, en la cual se enfrentó el Nº 2 con el 17 y Nº 1 con el 4 . Ha sido lo que se esperaba, un gran partido, reñido, con impresionantes rallys y tiros ganadores por parte de cada contendiente. ¿Recuerdan la frase con la que cerré mi penúltima publicación? “Parece muy difícil de alcanzar, pero solo Novak Djokovic lo puede lograr”.
Eso en referencia a los dos partidos que le quedan pendientes para acceder al mayor trono de Grands Slams obtenidos en la rama individual masculina. Era un escalón muy difícil de superar, sobre todo por el escenario planteado, dado el hecho de que Alexander Zverev venía con una racha ganadora de 16 partidos en fila; representando el pico más alto, en cuanto al grado de dificultad de los adversarios que ha enfrentado en este prestigioso torneo.

Un deporte quizás menos comercial que otros. A veces infravalorado (creo).
El tema del coaching en el tenis de campo no es nada nuevo. Solo que desde hace aproximadamente una década, se ha abordado con mayor interés el querer cambiar las reglas. Incluso, hay jugadores que han pedido públicamente que se modifique este apartado y se acepte abiertamente.
Y a su vez, otros competidores, han declarado (también ante los medios), su desacuerdo. En mi post, abordé el tema desde el punto de vista, de cómo hubiese afectado el desenlace del partido, los consejos del entrenador de Sascha, en el momento cuando Novak le hizo presa de sus estrategias de juego.
