Esta iniciativa me llamó mucho la atención y quise aventurarme a escribir sobre algunos tips que tal vez le puedan ser útiles a quienes como yo están regresando a HIVE luego de estar un tiempo fuera de este pequeño gran mundo o tal vez, le sea útil a quien está comenzando por primera vez aquí.
This initiative caught my attention and I wanted to venture to write about some tips that may be useful to those like me who are returning to HIVE after being away from this great little world for a while or perhaps be useful to who is starting for the first time here.
Luego de tomarme un tiempo de descanso (por trabajo, estudio y situación mundial), el año pasado regresé a escribir y subir contenido a HIVE luego de un buen break, y al regresar noté un ligero cambio en la dinámica a la cual yo creía estar acostumbrado antes de alejarme, pero eso en cierto modo me ayudó porque me obligó a dejar el HIVE que yo conocía de hace muchos atrás y darme un nuevo HIVE con nuevas reglas y bases que me permitieran redireccionar el sentido de mi contenido (y mi audiencia).
After taking some time off (due to work, study and world situation), last year I went back to writing and uploading content to HIVE after a good break, and when I came back I noticed a slight change in the dynamic to the which I thought I was used to before moving away, but that helped me in a certain way because it forced me to leave the HIVE that I knew from many years ago and give me a new HIVE with new rules and bases that would allow me to redirect the meaning of my content (and my audience).

Si bien era un miembro activo acá, no todo el contenido que subía ganaba notabilidad y eso me desalentaba pero me lo tomaba como un incentivo para hacerlo mejor y mejor, pero no siempre fue ese el resultado de ese incentivo. Aunque era contenido original y a veces hasta planeado con anticipación, no lograba conectar o algo no andaba bien, así que ahora que regresé pude notar las fallas que tuve en el pasado y procuro ahora en el presente no cometerlas en mis publicaciones para evitar repetir errores ya cometidos.
Although I was an active member here, not all the content I uploaded gained notability and that discouraged me but I took it as an incentive to do better and better, but that was not always the result of that incentive. Es algo tonto pero no te das cuenta de que no conoces HIVE hasta que lo comienzas a explorar de verdad, intenta indagar todo lo que puedas sobre la plataforma (fuera y dentro del sitio, literalmente cualquier información puede ser útil si la usas bien) y como funciona.
It's kind of silly but you don't realize you don't know HIVE until you really start exploring it, try to find out as much as you can about the platform (on and off the site, literally any information can be useful if you you use well) and how it works.
Teniendo una noción basada en la investigación que hagas, te dará una cierta ventaja al momento de comenzar a darte a conocer mediante el contenido que publiques y en las comunidades donde te sientas más libres y en sincronía con el sentido en el que quieras direccionar tu blog.
Having a notion based on the research you do, will give you a certain advantage when you start to make yourself known through the content you publish and in the communities where you feel freer and in sync with the direction in which you want to direct your blog.
● Lee como nunca:

Algo que sabe cualquier persona que se dedique a escribir con seguridad es que leer es la herramienta más importante al momento de sentarte frente a una computadora y una hoja de papel, saber escribir proviene de haber leído y mientras más lees, más escribes, es un hecho y así es como comienza toda buena redacción.
Something that anyone who is dedicated to writing knows for sure is that reading is the most important tool when sitting in front of a computer and a sheet of paper, knowing how to write comes from having read and the more you read, the more you write, it is a done and that's how all good writing begins.
Si no es un hábito en tu vida, hazlo un hábito, propóntelo como meta y verás que si persistes lo puedes hacer realidad. Y si ya lo tienes dominado porque la lectura es lo tuyo, tienes la mitad del camino asegurado, solo te faltan las ideas y el resto será pan comido. Lee, siempre lee; luego me cuentas que tal te fue.
If it is not a habit in your life, make it a habit, set it as a goal and you will see that if you persist you can make it a reality. Otro punto que cae en lo tonto, lo sé, pero es valido recordar que el uso correcto de los hashtags (o tags) puede hacer una diferencia importante en la visualización, alcance y recompensa del contenido que decidas publicar aquí.
Another silly point, I know, but it's worth remembering that the correct use of hashtags (or tags) can make an important difference in the visualization, reach and reward of the content you decide to publish here.
Si sueles agregar hashtags o tags que no tienen relación con el contenido que redactaste, o la fotografía que tomaste o el video que hiciste en tu publicación, será poco probable que tengas cualquiera de los tres (3) puntos que mencioné en el párrafo anterior. Anteponer la calidad de tu contenido te generará mayor recompensa, sin importar el tiempo que tome hacerlo.
If you tend to add hashtags or tags that are not related to the content you wrote, or the photo you took or the video you made in your publication, it is unlikely that you will have any of the three (3) points that I mentioned in the previous paragraph. Putting the quality of your content first will earn you more reward, no matter how long it takes to do so.
Con esto no quiero decir que no uses tags que llamen la atención de curadores importantes de HIVE, pero si puedes dejarlos para las últimas posiciones o al menos variar entre los tags relacionados con tu post y los tags que puedan atraer a los curadores más conocidos dentro de la plataforma. ¡Escoge con sabiduría!
With this I do not mean that you do not use tags that attract the attention of important curators of HIVE, but if you can leave them for the last positions or at least vary between the tags related to your post and the tags that can attract the best-known curators within the platform. Todo material ajeno a nuestra creación debe ser mencionado dentro de nuestras publicaciones, eso no se discute, de hecho, muchas comunidades en HIVE tienen como regla esta acción; dar créditos es más que un acto de cortesía o de mera formalidad, es respectar el trabajo de otras personas y agradecer que por medio de ese trabajo nosotros podemos sustentar nuestro post/artículo/redacción/video/foto, entre otros.

Personalmente tengo como principio, por mi carrera como periodista audiovisual, siempre tener mi fuente de información a mi lado, para dar créditos por lo que pude utilizar de ese trabajo para mi beneficio; al regresar pude ver que ese aspecto no cambió, de hecho se intensificó y agradezco que así sea y siga siendo.
Personally, I have as a principle, due to my career as an audiovisual journalist, to always have my source of information by my side, to give credits for what I could use of that work for my benefit; Upon returning I could see that this aspect did not change, in fact it intensified and I am grateful that it is so and continues to be.

Sigo viendo hoy en día como hay publicaciones que son un copia y pega de un artículo encontrado en la internet, esa acción la veo en varias comunidades y no está bien. En HIVE se produce y premia el contenido original, nada más.
I still see today how there are publications that are a copy and paste of an article found on the internet, I see that action in several communities and it is not right. In HIVE original content is produced and rewarded, nothing more.
Crea contenido que te guste y que te apasione escribir, pero también considera si ese contenido que vas a escribir puede gustarle o ayudar a alguien más y así comenzarás a crear un espacio creativo que te permita desarrollar posts cargados de pasión por lo que haces y a la vez podrás interesar a una comunidad sobre eso.
Create content that you like and that you are passionate about writing, but also consider if that content that you are going to write can be liked or helped by someone else and thus you will begin to create a creative space that allows you to develop posts full of passion for what you do and to the Maybe you can interest a community about it.
Empezar a crear desde cero no es fácil pero tampoco es imposible, inspírate leyendo otras publicaciones, buscando en las redes o realizando una "tormenta de ideas" hasta que logres quedarte con una (o varias de ellas) y comienza a hacerlas realidad en HIVE.

Esto fue uno de los problemas con los que más me tropecé al inicio de HIVE y ahora en mi regreso, poco a poco voy descubriendo que si es posible mejorar ese aspecto, solo debo dedicar un poco más de tiempo a la miniatura de mi post, escoger con más cautela la portada de mi publicación y listo.
This was one of the problems that I ran into the most at the beginning of HIVE and now on my return, little by little I am discovering that if it is possible to improve that aspect, I just have to spend a little more time on the thumbnail of my post, choose with more caution the cover of my publication and that's it.
Recuerda que lo primero que los lectores hacemos en HIVE es dirigir nuestra mirada hacia las miniaturas y si son lo suficientemente llamativas, es muy probable que nos dirijamos a tu post, todo es cuestión de hacer uso adecuado de tu opinión al momento de escoger tu miniatura.
Remember that the first thing that readers do in HIVE is direct our gaze towards the thumbnails and if they are striking enough, it is very likely that we will go to your post, it is all a matter of making proper use of your opinion at the moment to choose your thumbnail.

HIVE es una red social, actúa de la misma forma en la que actuarías si estuvieses en tu cuenta de Facebook o Instagram, comienza a crear lazos de amistad y camaradería dentro de las comunidades donde realices constantemente contenido, así no solo cumplirás con una regla (algunas comunidades así lo estipulan) sino que también podrás ganar amistades dentro y fuera de HIVE.
HIVE is a social network, act the same way you would if you were on your Facebook or Instagram account, start creating bonds of friendship and camaraderie within of the communities where you constantly make content, so you will not only comply with a rule (some communities stipulate it) but you will also be able to gain friendships inside and outside HIVE.
Al interactuar con otros miembros de las comunidades a las que perteneces por medio de las publicaciones que ellos hacen, podrás ganar también seguidores genuinos, recompensas ($) por comentar algo positivo que esté relacionado con el post que estás visitando para así aportar mayor valor a la publicación.
By interacting with other members of the communities to which you belong through the publications they make, you can also earn genuine followers, rewards ($) for commenting on something positive that is related to the post you are visiting in order to add greater value to the post.
Esos son los tips que yo mismo he seguido desde mi retorno en HIVE y hasta ahora me han sido de gran utilidad y espero también puedan serlo para ti o para alguien que conozcas.
Those are the tips that I myself have followed since my return to HIVE and so far they have been very useful to me and I hope they can also be for you or someone you know.
