¡Saludos hivers! Después de varios días me animo a publicar. La verdad he querido participar en muchas iniciativas, pero por ser nueva en la plataforma no he creído que sea prudente o tampoco he tenido todas las respuestas y experiencia. Sin embargo, siempre subo los dibujos que hago con mucho cariño. En este puse mucho empeño pues es la primera vez que participo en esta comunidad, he visto algunos post y aun así no lograba darme una idea de lo que podía hacer. Así que con mi mejor esfuerzo puse manos a la obra en lo que tengo experiencia, el dibujo.
Greetings hivers! After several days I dare to publish. The truth is that I wanted to participate in many initiatives, but because I am new to the platform I did not think it was prudent or I did not have all the answers and experience. However, I always upload the drawings that I make with a lot of love. In this I put a lot of effort because it is the first time I participate in this community, I have seen some posts and still I could not get an idea of what I could do. So with my best effort I put my hands to work in what I have experience, drawing.
Tal vez no muchos leyeron mi presentación, pero en un fragmento en la parte final hay una frase que dice "un desesperado renacer". Aunque parezca dramático y fuera de lugar, fue un comentario que hice por la plataforma. Sí, hive me permite ir más allá de mis propias limitaciones. Yo tenía meses sin dibujar, sin hacer muchas cosas que me gustan, sin ser creativa o intentar algo didáctico, incluso pasé años así. Estaba sumergida en los estudios y trabajo y no tenía tiempo para nada más. Ahora el tiempo me sobra un poco más, es obvio, muchos estamos desubicados y tratamos de aceptar y acostumbrarnos a lo que pasa en el mundo.
Maybe not many people have read my presentation, but in a fragment at the end there is a phrase that says "a desperate rebirth". Although it seems dramatic and out of place, it was a comment I made for the platform. Yes, hive allows me to go beyond my own limitations. I had months without drawing, without doing many things that I like, without being creative or trying something didactic, I even spent years like that. I was immersed in studies and work and had no time for anything else. Now I have a little more time to spare, it is obvious, many of us are out of place and try to accept and get used to what is happening in the world.
Y la verdad no tenía la más mínima motivación en ningún sentido. Agradezco las recomendaciones, y haberme animado a volverme parte de esta gran comunidad. Al principio me pareció mi mejor intento de algo, una excusa para levantarme y hacer un trabajo, porque así lo veo, como algo importante. Permite que me pregunte ¿Ahora qué voy a publicar? Y eso me ha ayudado mucho a no rendirme ante mis complicaciones.
And the truth was that I didn't have the slightest motivation in any way. I am grateful for the recommendations, and for having encouraged me to become part of this great community. At first it seemed like my best attempt at something, an excuse to get up and do a job, because that's how I see it, as something important. Let me ask myself, now what am I going to publish? And that has helped me a lot to not give up in the face of my complications.
El concepto referido en el dibujo, puede verse como sin perder el sentido de la responsabilidad y lo cómico se unen en sí mismos. Siempre he creído que es muy importante hacer lo que te gusta y eso implica disciplina, pese a que sea una simple caricatura, requiere de concentración y tiempo. Hive va conquistando cada vez mucho más corazones, en diferentes personas de muchos lugares. Aquí donde todos pueden mostrar sus talentos, brillantes como la luna, representando o participando en diferentes comunidades, colocamos una parte de nosotros en cada publicación, nos ayudamos a nosotros mismos y a quien nos lea.
The concept referred to in the drawing, can be seen as without losing the sense of responsibility and the comic is united in itself. I have always believed that it is very important to do what you like and that implies discipline, even though it is a simple caricature, it requires concentration and time. Hive is conquering more and more hearts, in different people from many places. Here where everyone can show their talents, bright as the moon, representing or participating in different communities, we place a part of ourselves in each publication, we help ourselves and whoever reads us.
En mi explicación "paso a paso" que no puede faltar. Comienzo con la luna, no quise hacer un medio círculo perfecto que la simulara. Me pareció más sensato pensar que si un día vas a la luna, verás que con tantos cráteres, no es para nada redonda, no hay una simetría perfecta. Así que con una especie de montañitas pequeñas y unidas, dieran una forma parecida sin salirse de lo que es una caricatura y su sencillez.
In my "step by step" explanation that cannot be missed. I start with the moon, I did not want to make a perfect half circle that would simulate it. It seemed more sensible to me to think that if you go to the moon one day, you will see that with so many craters, it is not round at all, there is no perfect symmetry. So with a kind of small mountains joined together, they would give a similar shape without leaving what is a caricature and its simplicity.
Realmente no estaba segura de que tamaño haría el astronauta, así que empecé con la bandera por la misma razón. Usé una regla para ello, y como quería que se encajara en la luna, dibujé la punta algo puntiaguda. Después hice la tela de la bandera, nada más con el lápiz y la verdad sin ninguna medida en especial. Era importante que se viera ondeada, pues da un aire victorioso y de triunfo. Representa cada uno de los logros de hive y de nosotros.

I wasn't really sure what size the astronaut would make, so I started with the flag for the same reason. I used a ruler to do it, and since I wanted it to fit on the moon, I drew the tip somewhat pointy. Then I made the fabric of the flag, just with the pencil and to be honest without any special measure. It was important for it to look wavy, because it gives an air of victory and triumph. It represents each of the achievements of hive and of us.

Era evidente que de alguna forma la bandera debe estar unida, por ello la cuerda, únicamente amarrada a la tela y la madera con un lazo.
It was clear that somehow the flag must be attached, so the rope, only tied to the fabric and wood with a loop.
Para hacer el logo de Hive, me ayudé con una escuadra. Hice tres líneas guías para que las dimensiones de las letras y el tamaño en sí, fuera lo más parejo posible. Aunque si hice la "v" con una tipología diferente a lo usual, y si queremos decirlo de forma más práctica, pues "un lado más pequeño que el otro".
To make the Hive logo, i used a square. I made three guide lines so that the dimensions of the letters and the size itself would be as even as possible. Although I did the "v" with a different typology than usual, and if we want to say it in a more practical way, then "one side smaller than the other".
Para mí fue bastante graciosa esta parte. Claro que usé un compás para el primer círculo, y la parte de arriba, pero tengo pulso de abuelita, y fue un caos para que las líneas de abajo coincidieran (la verdad es un compás muy sencillo). Cuando por fin lo logré, tenía que pasar del casco al cuerpo.
For me this part was quite funny. Of course I used a compass for the first circle, and the top part, but I have a granny pulse, and it was a chaos to make the bottom lines coincide (the truth is a very simple compass). When I finally made it, I had to go from the helmet to the body.
Empecé con los hombros, con dos corazones disparejos y divididos, para que fueran los primeros "pliegues" del traje. Ahora, era momento para los brazos, y tomar la bandera hivers. Estos trajes suelen ser muy grandes, entonces las curvas descontinuas pueden asemajar lo holgado en el traje.
I started with the shoulders, with two uneven and divided hearts, to be the first "folds" of the suit. Now, it was time for the arms, and to take the hivers flag. These suits are usually very large, so the discontinued curves can make the baggy part of the suit look like it.
Para el tronco del personaje, simule dibujar algo parecido a una lengua, incluso con la línea del medio, quería que se viera rellenito jajajaja. Para el tanque de oxígeno, solo hice un rectángulo, y la manguera son pequeños triángulos incompletos. Añadí algunas líneas y círculos para que no se viera tan simple. Las piernas son semi círculos y rectangulos, algo torcidos, nada en especial, recordemos que las caricaturas no deberían ser rígidas.
For the character's body, I simulated drawing something similar to a tongue, even with the line in the middle, I wanted it to look plump hahaha. For the oxygen tank, I only made a rectangle, and the hose are small incomplete triangles. I added some lines and circles so it wouldn't look so simple. The legs are half circles and rectangles, a bit crooked, nothing special, let's remember that cartoons should not be rigid.
Esta es la parte donde dibujo el logo de Loving Hive ❤, usé como guía las líneas del casco, ya que en un espacio reducido no era posible ser tan técnicos sino simplemente adaptarse a lo que se tiene. Esta gran comunidad como acompañante de apoyo que avanza con Hive, es quien sostiene la bandera en la luna.
This is the part where I draw the Loving Hive logo ❤. I used the lines of the helmet as a guide, since in a reduced space it was not possible to be so technical but simply to adapt to what you have. This great community as a support companion that advances with Hive, is the one that holds the flag on the moon.
Por último, dibujamos pequeñas colinas unas encima de otras cerca muy cerca, de la bandera, para que se dé a entender que ahí en dónde está colocada
Finally, we drew small hills on top of each other very close to the flag, so that it is clear that where the flag is placed

Lo siguiente es delinear todo el traje con gris claro.
The next thing is to line the whole suit with light grey.
Damos sombra al traje con el mismo gris.

Este paso es muy importante ¡Atención! Donde se supone que va el brillo del casco, dividimos con tres líneas, la primera es gris oscuro, luego sigue gris claro y blanco. Y no obligatoriamente se deja en blanco sino que se hace un degradé.

El siguiente paso es aplicar blanco en todo el traje, nótese que ahora tiene un aspecto amarillento y opaco.

Lo siguiente será pintar por capas el corazón y el pecho: 1 aplicar rosado claro, 2 aplicar rosado oscuro, 3 aplicar rojo carmesí y 4 aplicar rojo terracota. Los colores mencionados van en este orden uno encima del otro, de los bordes hacía el centro.
The following will be to paint in layers the heart and chest: 1 apply light pink, 2 apply dark pink, 3 apply crimson and 4 apply terracotta red. The colors mentioned go in this order one on top of the other, from the edges to the center.

La primera capa para la cuerda es amarillo, siempre que se use marrón encima de este, dará un aspecto color mostaza, luego se delinea con negro.
The first layer for the rope is yellow, as long as brown is used on top of this, it will give a mustard colored look, then it is outlined with black.
Para la tela de la bandera. Nótese que tiene ondas. Las que están hacia abajo simularán ser pliegues y sombra, aun así como se trabaja por capas, la primera base será 1 verde mañana, 2 verde pasto que es más oscuro que irá solo en los pliegues, 3 delinear con verde aguamarina oscuro.
For the flag fabric. Note that it has waves. Those that are downwards will simulate folds and shadow, even as you work in layers, the first base will be 1 morning green, 2 grass green which is darker and will go only in the folds, 3 delineate with dark aquamarine green.
Para la luna: 1 delinear con gris claro, 2 aplicar amarillo claro en algunas áreas sin distinción (a lo loco jajaja), 3 usar gris claro en cima del amarillo y los bordes de los cráteres, 4 aplicar blanco encima de todo lo pintado anteriormente en la luna.
For the moon: 1 delineate with light gray, 2 apply light yellow in some areas without distinction, 3 use light gray on top of the yellow and the edges of the craters, 4 apply white on top of everything previously painted on the moon.

- Aquí usaré también acuarela negra y tempera azul oscuro, el primer paso es tener agua a la mano para humedecer la acuarela (por ello la tapita)
Comenzamos con los bordes pintándolos de negro, la verdad no tenía un pincel muy fino, y prefería tener cuidado.
La estrategia era, que la acuarela cuando se seca no cubre del todo, y no iba a quedar tan oscura como quería, pero tampoco tenía tempera negra y había que economizar el color negro jajajaja. Entonces la idea era usar ambos para dar ese acabado.
Entonces arriba usé primero negro, y abajo azul, y cuando se secaron, para ver cómo lucía, usé ambos uno encima del otro.
Finalmente rellené los espacios difíciles de alcanzar con los creyones.
Here I will also use black aquarelle and dark blue tempera, the first step is to have water on hand to moisten the watercolor (hence the lid)
We started with the borders by painting them in black, the truth is I didn't have a very fine brush, and I preferred to be careful.
The strategy was that, when it dries, it does not cover completely, and it was not going to be as dark as I wanted, but neither did it have black tempera and we had to save the color black hahaha. So the idea was to use both to give that finish.
So on top I used black first, and on the bottom blue, and when they were dry, to see how it looked, I used both on top of each other.
I finally filled in the hard-to-reach spaces with the crayons.
Un apartado sería, que no había quedado conforme con la bandera, entonces usé la acuarela verde que se ve en la foto, para cubrir toda la tela, pero como no usé un tono tan oscuro, lo que logré fue, difuminar los colores que ya había usado. Entonces estuve feliz.
One section would be that I was not happy with the flag, so I used the green watercolor you see in the photo to cover all the fabric, but as I did not use such a dark tone, what I managed was to blur the colors I had already used. So I was happy.
La verdad le puse mucho empeño y cariño. Espero poder seguir participando, animandome a continuar en el arte, en la vida, en Hive, que me ha ayudado mucho. Y aprender de ustedes,cada vez que pueda leerlos. Sinceramente ¡Gracias por motivarme a crecer!
