La rutina, nos vuelve monótonos, nos abrigamos bajo una sensación de seguridad, confianza y un nivel de comodidad, que no nos permite avanzar, es por ello que, como creadores debemos apostar por la innovación.

Un nuevo diseño ha nacido en mi colección de aretes, se trata de unas argollas, que podemos realizar muy fácilmente, su dificultad es mínima, puedes utilizar elementos nuevos o reciclados, quedarán muy lindos. Acompáñame a un nuevo tutorial, que estoy segura, será uno de tus favoritos.

What are we going to use?

Multilevel mandrel
Costume jewellery tweezers
4mm Swarovsky crystals
Costume jewellery wire (20 or 18 gauge)
Costume jewellery wire (26 gauge)

Lo primero que haremos, es tomar nuestra herramienta mandril multinivel, y elegimos uno de los niveles más amplios (grandes), procedemos a dar dos vueltas completas de nuestro alambre calibre nro. 18 (o 20); cortamos.

The first thing we will do, is to take our multilevel mandrel tool, and choose one of the wider (larger) levels, proceed with two full turns of our 18 (or 20) gauge wire; cut with our cutting pliers.

Con la misma pinza de corte, dividimos en dos aros el alambre que hemos dado forma en el mandril; con la pinza redonda, haremos dos pequeños aros en los extremos de cada aro.

With the same cutting pliers, we divide the wire that we have shaped in the mandrel into two rings; with the round pliers, we make two small rings at the ends of each ring.

Volvemos a ubicar los aros que realizamos previamente en nuestra herramienta mandril y notaremos, que ha disminuido el tamaño; por ésta razón es importante iniciar con un tamaño más grande al que deseamos.

We reposition the rings we previously made in our mandrel tool and we will notice, that the size has decreased; for this reason it is important to start with a larger size than the one we want.

Con ayuda de la pinza plana, daremos medio giro a los aros de los extremos, realizamos un ajuste en nuestro mandril, con fuerza media, a fin de enderezar el alambre que pudo doblarse en el proceso.

With the help of the flat pliers, we will give a half turn to the end rings, make an adjustment on our mandrel, with medium force, in order to straighten the wire that may have been bent in the process.

Insertamos en hilo de bisuería calibre nro 26 de manera intercalada, nueve cristales o piedras naturales nro. 4 y, empezamos a envolver nuestros aros, tal como se muestra en la foto; a medida que avanzamos, vamos presentando los cristales.

We insert nine crystals or natural stones no. 4 in bezel-setting wire no. 26 in an intercalary way and, we start wrapping our earrings, as shown in the picture; as we go on, we introduce the crystals.

Una vez que presentamos nuestro cristal, seguimos envolviendo (aproximadamente tres o cuatro vueltas), hasta llegar al final del aro base.

Once we present our crystal, we continue wrapping (approximately three or four turns), until we reach the end of the base ring.

Nuestra base ha quedado concluida, recuerda ajustar muy bien los extremos y trabajar de manera prolija, para evitar lastimar a quien lo use.

Our base is now complete, remember to adjust the ends very well and work neatly, to avoid hurting the wearer.

Ha llegado el momento de realizar el sujetador de nuestro arete: tomamos aproximadamente 4,5 cm de hilo de bisutería calibre 20 o 18, realizamos un aro en uno de los extremos.

Now it is time to make the fastener for our earring: we take approximately 4.5 cm of 20 or 18 gauge costume jewellery thread, we make a ring at one end.

Una vez listo, tomamos uno de los nuevos alfileres y realizamos una amplia curva, con ayuda de la pinza multi mandril, si no tienes una, puedes ayudarte con un lápiz o bolígrafo. Con ayuda de una pinza plana, realizamos un ligero doblez tal como se muestra en la fotografía.

Once ready, we take one of the new pins and make a wide bend, with the help of the multi mandrel pliers, if you don't have one, you can help yourself with a pencil or pen. With the help of a flat tweezers, we make a slight bend as shown in the picture.

Procedemos a unir el motivo central y a cortar el excedente del hilo; procuramos que todo quede lindo y sin detalles.

Hemos culminado nuestro hermoso arete, puedes regalar, vender o usar y disfrutar...

We proceed to join the central motif and cut off the excess thread; we try to make sure that everything is nice and without details.
