When I entered the fine dining restaurant L'Oiseau Blanc at the Peninsula hotel, I was struck by three things:
- The plane named L'Oiseau Blanc suspended in the air. The name of the restaurant makes perfect sense, as it pays tribute to the two aviators and their biplane. Of course, it is a replica.
- The terrace, which offers a stunning panoramic view of Paris.
- The exceptional view of the Eiffel Tower.
We were absolutely amazed, all within an elegant and intimate atmosphere.
Lorsque je suis entré dans le restaurant gastronomique L'oiseau blanc de l'hôtel Péninsula j'ai été surpris par 3 choses :
- L'avion nommé l'Oiseau Blanc suspendu dans les airs. L'on comprend mieux le nom de ce restaurant qui rend hommage aux deux aviateurs et à leur biplan. Il s'agit, bien entendu, d'une réplique.
- La terrasse qui offre une vue panoramique de toute beauté sur Paris.
- La vue exceptionnelle sur la Tour Eiffel.
Nous en avons pris plein les yeux dans une ambiance élégante et intimiste.

This aircraft disappeared on May 8, 1927, and its exact fate remains a mystery to this day.

That must have been quite a challenge to position that plane there!
Ça a dû être un sacré défi que de positionner cet avion à cet endroit !
