We try to keep you informed about the tribes which we have invested in with Brofund, since you, as a BRO-Holder, have also indirectly invested in those projects. Due to this, it's possible that you will see some tribes often, and others not at all. This hasn't got anything to do with the tribe itself, or that these tribes are not active. It's only because of the fact that we have not (yet) invested in these projects. Since @raymondspeaks is always on the lookout for projects on Hive-Engine to possibly support, this can change from week to week.
We have decided not to include more than 3 projects per week in the Bro Newspaper. This makes it easier for you to read, and you don't get an excessive amount of information. If I were you, I would pay close attention to those three projects, because they could become very interesting in the short run. For now, let's just say that your time and attention could pay for themselves!

It may look like we're having a quiet week in The Mancave but looks deceive! Behind the scenes we are working hard on a blog schedule that will go 'live' soon. I can't say much about it right now... but what I can say is that it will definitely be worth it to keep your eyes on the Brofund account EVERY weekday. Very varied blogs will appear. Are you already a little curious? GOOD! Hold onto that curiosity and keep your eyes on the Brofund account!
Last week we had mentioned that our Ray was sponsoring the HivePUD. And now you have all become curious how?

RISING STAR
Let's talk about your musical career on Hive! What? Are you surprised now? Don't you play Rising Star?
Hmmm, maybe you could take a look at that. It can create passive income for you. At Brofund we know how that works, at least... @stickupboys knows how that works. He plays Rising Star for Brofund, and he's not bad at it! Not quite in the top 100 yet, but that won't be long. This is of course not that surprising, it is the right man in the right place!

This latest update contains a lot of important information. Such as, for example, that the entire blockchain gaming website has been adjusted. But that's not everything!
There is also important news for the players of Hashkings, among others, AND of course for the players of Rising Star! Where before you had to sell your Starbits (sometimes just dump them) to get your hands on STARPRO, now there's good news: that belongs to the past.
A new solution has been found! And this solution reduces the selling pressure on both STARBITS (and in other pools also on HKWATER and BUDS for example), but it also reduces the selling pressure on HIVE! Isn't that great?

WAIVIO
@raymondspeaks asked me to write about WAIVIO this week. Why? For the simple reason that he found some WAIVIO tokens in his wallet and was surprised at the price at which they were trading.
I thought it was a nice idea, especially because last week I used one of the tools that WAIVIO offers in your wallet. A tool that turns out to be very useful if you have to fill in a tax return and enter your earnings for both HIVE and HIVE-ENGINE tokens.
But is that all WAIVIO has to offer? Let me put it differently, do you actually know what WAIVIO has to offer? And whether WAIVIO is still really active?
Let me start with the beginning. WAIVIO was created in the time of the other blockchain that we no longer mention. So it's not exactly a newbie on the block. Yet I never hear or read anything about this project. And that while it is a very interesting project! IF you live in British Columbia, Canada. And there I see a point which is a bit of a shame for me as a European.
@waivio's idea is very nice. Honest reviews for companies, where the reviewer is rewarded by a predetermined reward. (Correct me if I'm wrong!)

I love the idea! Only from a practical point of view, this is currently totally unappealing to people from outside the British Columbia region of Canada. And that's why my question arises, is Waivio still active? I see that the website is still under construction. They now also support Hive-Engine tokens. Which is of course a great plus, if there were now also rewards to be collected in the Netherlands for example ... I would be the first to use it.
Because what could be more fun than going out to dinner, writing an honest review about it and being rewarded for it too?
Now that this has been said, it's time to take a look at the latest VERY interesting addition to the WAIVIO website. Called REBALANCING.
And remember this word because you are going to love this! It ensures that your portfolio grows. And how do you do that through rebalancing? Simply by keeping the dollar value of your tokens the same!
I get that this still sounds like abracadabra, but it's actually genius, and not as difficult as it seems. GOSSIP
Summer in the Netherlands has come to an abrupt end. During the day, the temperature just manages to reach twenty degrees at the hottest moment, but the nights are already a lot colder and in the mornings a thick blanket of damp mist hangs over the meadows.
Time to cuddle up again to keep warm. And that reminds me of the BROmance again.
Where I already informed you last week that this BROmance in DM is still very active, this week it seemed for a while that a new phase had begun. There was talk of 'meetings', and I don't mean the discord meetings that we all know. Later this was denied by one of the lovebirds. Still, I don't believe this denial... I'll keep my eyes open and keep you posted on any new developments.
Now I have to confess something to you. I've been writing this Bro Newspaper for over a year now. And I've been using the same photo for the header for at least a year. And for at least a year I have never sourced this same photo. This has NEVER been a problem.
Until last week, our team-meanie @traciyork suddenly noticed this small imperfection. And she asked me to source the header photo for the Bro Newspaper, otherwise she would have to report it to @hivewatchers.
Now you understand that I couldn't find the photo in question so quickly. I seriously don't remember if I downloaded this photo from Pixabay, Pexels or Unsplash. Keep using the same photo without sourcing the photo...that was really a no-go. Now that Traci had jumped on this little thing, I couldn't risk it. And admittedly, of course, I know that a photo needs to be sourced!
I blame @raymondspeaks for not having done this earlier. It's always easier to blame someone else, right? The first 10 issues or so I wrote, and then I passed the file on to Ray who double checked and posted. So it makes perfect sense for me to blame Ray, right? LOL!
Now all kidding aside. I know a photo needs to be sourced if it is not my own photo! So starting this week we have a new header photo in our Bro Newspaper! Sourced by the rules! If you don't like it? BLAME TRACI
We have been in bear market mode for a while now. And what strikes me the most about this time. Is that in discord it is also much quieter. And that the bear market really does seem to bring out the worst in people. Many people complain about protocols that have not changed anything, only the price has dropped. People sell in a panic attack, bringing their portfolio down even further. The tone changed from "hallelujah" to "nothing is right". People never seem to understand that it is in the bear market where the millionaires are made. It just takes TIME!
@silverstackeruk and @r0nd0n know this all too well though. They don't let themselves be fooled. SSUK has even bought itself a new watch so as not to forget the time. This way he can certainly time the upcoming bull market well. For @r0nd0n this will have to wait and see, he is still in doubt whether he should repair old watches, only the tools you need for that cost quite a bit.
Do you see the dilemma here? To become a millionaire you have to time the bull and bear markets well, but if your watch is not working yet, there is little to time. And then the tools to time it are expensive. It's a diabolical dilemma, what could we advise him?

I had checked out Waivio a while back, but kind of dismissed it because it is so geographically specific... and I'm in Ontario, Canada. It still doesn't apply to me.
That rebalancing feature though: super interesting. A bit odd coming out of #Waivio, IMHO, but I do like the overall feel and functionality of the platform. Something to think about... and I really do hope they expand their review base out to at least the rest of Canada (to start). 👍

As an European (great to find out you're one too :))) it is quite hard to understand that token and its tokenomics. I am still very confused, I have to admit. I tried a few times to gather more information, without any luck. Presently, I just use those waivio drops to buy one other token, you guess which one :P
