[A Picture Speaks a Thousand Words]-Dreams that come true.

in BDCommunity3 years ago (edited)

Door-bell rang! I couldn’t shout as dad came home because the pattern of pressing bell is quite different this time. I didn’t run for the door mom opened and it was my grandparents. I rushed to them and granny took me in her arms. They bought so many toys for me and lots of chocolate. How happy a 8 years child would be after getting lots of toys and chocolates can't be described in words. Mom is calling as " Get up! Samar you are getting late for your school. Come on hurry up my little angel." I woke up and realised that it was a dream of mine. With a great fun and enthusiasm i told mom that grandparents are coming with lots of toys and chocolates for me. I have seen them just now. Mom told they are in village and sick, they haven’t came here for the last five years. I told again that i have seen them and i want them. Mom told me that she would take me to them in the next holiday now its time to go to school.

After a couple of days a strange pattern of bell rang. It hit my mind and reminded me of my dream. I started to shout granny came, granny came. Mom opened the door and its in real. Truly they came with my aunt. I am jumping with joy. I am shouting like "I told you mom that they will come with chocolates and toys,See they are here." Everyone is happy to see me smiling. Actually what can be more enjoyable to a boy whose father is a govt officer who remains most of his time at office and he is all alone with the mother. Now new people came to spent their time and play with him.

Its been 12 years past, Samar is now a boy of 20 year. Passed his College life amd now is in Higher studies.

Years are passing and that sense of samar of dreams coming true and gradually increasing. Normally he doesn’t have dreams while sleeping and when he does most of them comes true. In the beginning of this his parents hasn’t taken it seriously but day by day it drew their attention. It was good and acceptable untill he was seeing only positive things. Few times he also seen some negative dreams too those came true sooner or later.

While being at class ten he saw that at one of his exams he became late and missed his exam. That was a fear of him which kept him always eating mentally. No exam of him gone well out of this fear. He knew today or tomorrow that will come true. He did a foolish thing to escape this fear. A night before the exam he had a sleeping pill and got late for the exam and missed the exam. By hook or crook the dream came true and he got some relief. As it was hampering his all activities. Many incidents of such came and go. Good dreams gives him positivity and the bad ones give him fear and draw him back at his life. That's how life was going.

Come back to present date,
It's evening, i am with my friends at the railway station to escort one of my friends who is going to another city by train. These are the days of winter and its very cold around. In this cold weather a hot tea is very enjoyable. So everyone drank our tea and the train was late quite a bit. We were expecting for the train. His coach was 'A' and we couldn’t figure that it will be at first or in the last as the same train goes through the way double time. So we were at the middle to go at any end quickly. Train came and we were purchasing some water and foods for him but in the meantime the train blew its whistle and started to move. As it was running late so didn’t stop for a long period and the train was at the opposite track of us. My friend run to get on the coach and fell from there after going out of the station and from the other end a non-stop train came with full speed and hit him.

I woke up and was shouting by his name and sweating on and on. I immediately called mom and told her everything. She is assuring me nothing of such will happen. But inside she has also got scared and sweating out of tension. I was in a great mental shock for too many days. Father took me to psychiatrist to help me get over this mental shock. Gradually i came back to normal but whenever i came across to railway or train related something i get scared. For me its like a waiting period for seeing something terrible. I started staying alone,i can't take this anymore. I always try to avoid going near railway or train. I also get fear if i am stuck in a railway crossing. Days are going and i am living with this mental threat. Who knows what's waiting for me in the coming days?
