The Little Prince written by Antoine de Saint-Exupéry and published in 1942 is the book I choose is a great work, very existentialist perhaps too much for a child, I think it is a very good work that is worth reading as a child and then read as an adult, it is true that it is enjoyed more as an adult, but the first time I read it was as a child, then I would read it again as an adult.

This book tells a personal story in the field of fantasy, it is a criticism of society that is as absurd as each of the planets that the little prince visits, we have a lonely aviator and one day his plane is going to be damaged in the middle of the desert and that's when he meets a boy, the little prince.

There are many interpretations of the meaning of the encounter of the aviator with the little prince, it can be a hallucination, it can also be an allegory because the author suffered a similar accident in the desert, the last theory says that the little prince is the best friend of the car called lion Wert.

In this book we are presented with an absurd universe from the perspective of a child, it is about escaping from adults who do not accept the purest values such as imagination and sincere friendship, the little prince is about having all the illusions placed in the future and keep intact our opportunities.

So the little prince will talk to the aviator and tell him his fantastic story, he lives on a small planet and takes care of a rose, this rose is lost so he decides to go out to look for it, on the way he will meet other planets where there will be a king without subjects, vain people, drunk people, a businessman who counted stars, until he finally arrives on earth where he meets the aviator.

There is also the character of the zoore that scared me a lot as a child, comes to be a threat in the story but tries to be a kind of spiritual guide, this book is full of memorable phrases and very deep reflections, let's analyze some of his most famous phrases.

"All older people have been children before" refers to the fact that when we are children we are better people, but then we believe and something changes, that's what the book is about reminding you that when you were a child you were happier and a better person.

"The essential is invisible to the eyes" this phrase is about that we should let our imagination fly that we had as a child, in adult life we are only able to see the hat instead a child sees a boa devouring an elephant, something more fun.

"You are forever responsible for that which you have tamed" is a phrase that deals with friendship, it speaks to you that you should cultivate your friendships.

"The child you were would be proud of the adult you are?" here we talk about rediscovering our inner child, the dreams we had as children and the illusions.

This play is full of reflections and teachings and makes his point clear , children are better people than adults have a better view of the world , the adult world is absurd in the eyes of a child , finally our aviator manages to survive the desert and the little prince disappears , the beauty is that both learn many things , the aviator learns and understands the point of view of the little prince and the little prince understands that he must let go of his rose , which has many interpretations.

For me the rose means love, we stop being children to look for love, but this book is so existentialist and so good that it can be read over and over again and at every opportunity you will find something new, a new point of view to rescue from this magical encounter.
