Having A Sense Of Mission

in BDCommunity3 years ago

What gives your life meaning is the value you create. However, creating of value may not be possible until you have created a mission that gives you a sense of purpose. If you have no idea of what your dreams are or what you are designed to do, there will be nothing to actualize. Before you seek out for provision, you have to have a vision. Most times, provisions only come as a complement to vision.

If you do not have reasons to stand, you may fall by just anything. If you do not have reasons to wake up, then sleeping and snoring becomes the order of the day. In the same way, if you do not create a mission for yourself, you will not not be able to assess your progress or know if you are even making progress at all.

Why many people waver at the face of challenges is because their is no sense of mission driving them. Nothing is as motivational as having your eyes focused on your desired result. Do you know why people prepare well and sit for exams without a recourse to the difficulty level of the exam? Simple, they already have their eyes on what to gain by passing the exams - like their degree, M.Sc etc.

The same thing happens when a farmer goes to plant seed. The reason he plants the seeds, nurtures the seedlings, tends to his plants, weeds the plant etc, is because he already has his eyes on the harvest and that is his own sense of mission. Without creating a plan to guide your actions, achieving your dreams may be very difficult.

Focusing on your goal will unleash within you the energy to give it all it takes and prepare extensively for it. I remember the world's record holder for the fastest runner, Hussein Bolt, in one of his interviews, he explained how much he had to train for just a few seconds race. The price and the title was the major driving force for him and that created a sense of mission for him.

You only fulfil what you have initially planned for. Your level of achievement is directly determined by the responsibility you put in place to follow after your plan. Remember this; you will need to secure a vision and mission first before you can welcome provisions. Start the mission from where you are, and while you are on your way to your destination, the required provision will arrive.
