in BDCommunity4 years ago

Hey there,

Hope everybody is well. Maybe I can count myself as a travel ambitious man. Because I had a travel experience before the Corona Epidemic started.

The date was probably January 28, 2020, Tuesday. We were very happy with this trip. Because The day ended with stories of some good and bad moments.

Welcome to Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Safari Park, Gazipur.

Well, let's see the real subject Wanderlust.

Tuesday, winter morning we all gather at a certain place. Where the bus was already standing for us.

Some of us were thinking about what to eat in the path, and we were busy organizing it. Some people were late, so the bus started a little late. The time was 8 o'clock in the morning the bus started.

We all got on the bus and everyone was quiet because you understand that we had a lot of elders and younger people with us, whether it was a winter morning, so everyone was asleep on the bus. But as soon as we went some distance at some hour later, one of our elder brothers sang.

His name is Omar Faruq. He is a book sealer. When the brother started singing everyone and gathered inside the bus and all of them sang a sang. And our bus is running at its own speed, and we were enjoying it.

There were many strangers old and young with us. Going on a trip together and not getting to know everyone. It won't happen. So I tried to get to know strangers as much as I could. Because everyone should be treated well when traveling. The more you can walk around an unfamiliar place with familiar people it was getting interesting, the more you can move around with an open mind.

After going some distance, our bus stopped at an empty place in Gazipur, Bangladesh. There we had a light breakfast which we brought with us. One thing we noticed that none of us threw any dust, unused plastic or bottles anywhere on the side of the road. Leaving the bag in a certain place, we set off again.

We started walking on the bus again. Then the winter had subsided so everyone took off their winter clothes and put them in their own bags. We all appeared in front of the largest safari park in Bangladesh. Named was "Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Safari Park, Gazipur, Dhaka, Bangladesh" with beautiful outfits. Everyone got off the bus and took a picture.

Some of Our seniors went to the ticket counter to buy tickets for all of us. By then way, when we were busy taking pictures.

We organized everything that we would play cricket inside the safari park, but it is not safe to take anything inside from outside, said a responsible official there. So there is nothing more to say or do, the rules are the same for everyone, so we left everything and went inside the park with only some clothes in our bag.

We first went to the part of the safari park The main attraction, where the tigers and lions are kept. There were a few more brothers with me, everyone bought an indoor bus ticket. Explore the open part of the safari park by bus once. Each ticket costs 100tk. (The reason for going by bus in the park is because the animals are out there and this is safe in the park because there were many dangerous animals).

The intrance of safari land.

We went inside and saw tigers and lions, although it is said that they are not seen on everyone's foreheads.

There were also wild buffalo, African buffalo, deer, monkeys, mountain bulls, and many more.

Then We went to the parrot bird site. Where we saw a variety of birds. However, if you have to take pictures with birds, you have to buy a ticket for 50tk. It would not be right to call a ticket, it is just a small gift for a place where many exotic birds can be seen. From there I went to the marine fish collection, then to the butterfly museum.

Some happy moment of that day.

Then we started walking. We saw hippos, crocodiles, vultures, ostriches, eagles, hedgehogs, various species of turtles, domesticated elephants, and wild elephants, and many more.

We walked through the forest to where there were open wild elephants, but then the guards would not let us go. But we saw wild elephants.

Colorful fishpond, where we fed the fish.

The day passed and the afternoon. Then it's time to eat and drink. Inside were two restaurants, named Tiger Restaurant and Lion Restaurant. The special reason for naming these two restaurants is that tigers can be seen in tiger restaurants and lions can be seen in lion restaurants.

We arranged the food ourselves. Because of the large number of people, we ate by ourselves rather than buying and eating.

The afternoon passed and evening came, we organized lottery inside ourselves. I also bought a few tickets but I didn’t get anything in the lottery. I was a little upset, but I was feeling very good seeing the joy of everyone. Then I took a group photo and left.

Not much was said today. However, the pictures were given some happy times. I hope you like my travel story. Thanks to @BDcommunity for holding that type of Wanderlust contest.
