When Cub Defi craze got in and everyone busy pimping out their posts like crazy I didn't do mine. First of all, I had nothing special to share secondly, I was so tired of seeing the same posts everywhere that I really didn't want to be part of that flood.
My own Cub-Defi story is a little bit interesting :P XD Please don't laugh when I share because all this Defi thing was very new to me. I had no idea what I am doing. I got 15 CUB airdrop on my Leo holdings and we were given a certain time limit to claim our token on Binance or to stake them on CUB-Defi.
I didn't know that I have to create Binance Network on my Metamask wallet and then I have to connect my wallet to cubdefi.com. I mistakenly sent my 1 cub to Binance deposit address :P XD I wasn't sure what I am doing so I decided to take a risk on just 1 CUB thank God I had some sense I didn't send all but one :P. I was totally lost. It was so damn late night when I was doing all this. My all friends were sleeping. Thank God Rea wakes up early i pinged him in his DM and told him what I have done and as usual, He called me dumb and then guided me through the right way.
Anyways I was able to stake my 14 Cub in DEN and at an early stage I was getting good cub by staking just 14 CUB now gone are those days. Later on, at the Bd party, I was told I should go for the CUB-BUSD pool instead of staking them in Den. I took the advice of Azircon and I bought BUSD according to my CUBS. I had 14 CUBS so I needed 73 something BUSD in order to stake them in the CUB_BUSD pool. That was a pretty good decision.

I have 47 CUB in the CUB-BUSD pool and I have staked 23 CUB in Den. A journey from 14 CUB to 70 CUB is pretty nice. Whatever I earn in the CUB-BUSD pool I harvest and stake in DEN. Actually, I don't want to invest anymore that's why I am staking in DEN. The process of getting CUBS is pretty slow in DEN but it is what it is. CUB-BUSD has 316% APR whilst DEN has 144% so the difference is clear. I am ok with whatever I am getting. I have already gotten back my investment so the rest all is just profit. It will keep increasing as I have no plans of unstacking CUBS. Finally, I made a post on the CUB-BUSD pool yaaay :P XD
That 47 on your screenshot is not your cub amount, that's your lp tokens you got while adding liquidity into your cub-busd pool. If you dont have cub in your wallet(harvested but not staked) then you have 23 cubs except the cubs (maybe your initial 14 if you haven’t added more) you added on liquidity pool with busd. Are you doing a mistake while calculating or i am missing something? 🤔
Wait.. I am considering that LP my CUB. So what you said according to that I am calculating wrong it seems. When I will leave this CUB-BUSD pool won't i get the same amount of CUB? As I mentioned this pool thing is very new to me I think I still need to understand it.
It looks like you have added 14 cub and 71 busd only once and by providing liquidity you got lp tokens. Staking lp tokens at cub-busd pool we are earning more cubs which we stake at den. The amount of cub you have on den or waiting for harvest wont change untill you sell or do something with them. But the 14 cubs you paired with busd and added to liquidity will be changed as the price of cub is volatile. That's called impermanent loss. As long as you don't unstake the liquidity you wont face the impermanent loss.
So for easy to understand, you may count that you have earned 23 cubs and you have the liquidity you had provided in the beginning which worth can be changed when you unstake. Its a ittle bit complicated. 😐
