Wreath
A most wonderful metal wreath hanging on a barn door.
Very unique and unusual. I really like the rustic look.
Water
A beautiful and quiet lake.
I went swimming here many times this past Summer.
Wasp
A wasp on a white Cleome flower blossom.
Wagon Wheel
An old wagon wheel stored in my friend's shed.
My friend Mary loves to go to antique auctions. She always comes back home with great purchases.
Wild Black Bear
Sitting in my vehicle waiting for the bear to move along so I can leave my cabin drive on by.
Wood
It's that time of year again already...!
Late this afternoon I brought more firewood in from the woodpile for my woodstove.
The days but especially the nights are very chilly.

I like your wild neighbor - such a nice black guy. I think he only wanted to have a little chat about the weather with you 😉
The Water in the lake looks clean and fresh - perfect for a little swim in the hot summer to cool down :)
There's nothing better than to warm up a room with real fire from wood. I can still hear the sound of the burning wood when we made holidays on the mountain or even at home where the kitchen still is mostly heated by a wood stove.

I much enjoy living in the woods and seeing my wild neighbors.
My cabin is only heated by wood. It's a job to cut and gather it but it's a wonderful and cozy source of heat.
I cook on my woodstove all Winter long and heat my water on it..😊

When I was a child we have spent almost all Summer holidays at our small cabin on the mountain. There we had no electricity and even no toilet inside. In the first years we had to carry the water in a bucket from a little brook.
So I know about how live is in such a cabin, but nowadays I would need a bit more comfort … running water and a toilet would be fine 😉

I saw a young bear the other day. In a few more weeks they will be hibernating for the Winter.

well, this depends on point of view. myself, I am trying to be creative and find unique stuff, but others find theier entries pretty quickly! write, water, window, wheel, warm... and on and on :) btw, so far I've found two great wordpicks - wildlife and wonderland - in elizacheng's post (worth checking if you are curious).
