Yesterday my wife and myself were back at the supermarket doing our fruit and veggie shopping but also on the hunt for the @alphabethunt contest run by @barbara-orenya and this week begins the hunt for letter "L" so follow us down the aisles and see what we can find starting with the letter "L" honestly this reminds me of the little games we use to play as kids , i spy with my little eye i am sure we have all played this game at some stage of our childhood life anyway lets move on.
Let's start of with our gracious lemon which is a excellent source of antioxidant vitamin C and our gracious lemon has many other health benefits such as in helping us with weight loss , improving our skin quality it freshens our breath and many more benefits but it is this gracious lemon that is use in or with many of our foods to give it those outstanding refreshing flavors. Drinking lemon juice with warm water is the first thing in the morning i do it's especially healthy and keeps you hydrated this is one thing i have been doing every morning for years.

Leek is a vegetable and are a good source of manganese and containing vitamins A, C, and K. Leeks are regarded as a Superfood helping protect against heart disease and some types of cancer. Leeks go well with many dishes and are extremely tasty mixed in with pasta sauces, risottos, and soups.

Lime is a citrus fruit very much in the same family as lemons only it's smaller round in shape and green in color it's grows to about 3–6 centimeters in diameter, and contains acidic juice vesicles. Has very much the benefits of a lemon helps rejuvenates skin , helps fights infections , helps lower blood pressure and many more. Drinking lime in your water provides you with many healthy antioxidants one lime squeezed in a eight 8-ounce glass a day should do it.

The lettuce and the many types of lettuces whether it's curly , red or mixed colors we are all familiar with and makes good at any barbecue. It is a leafy vegetable mainly used in salads but can also be seen in other kinds of foods like in soups , sandwiches and also used for wraps.

Lemongrass it has a fresh, lemony aroma and a citrus flavor used in many Thai dishes for the flavor and freshness. Lemongrass is also used as a essential oil in many Thai massage and spa rooms to freshen the air, reduce stress, and uplift your mood. It also helps relieve pain, and boosts your immunity system.

Loquats fruit is a orange looking fruit with a pleasant flavor blend of apricot, plum and cherry all in one and very sweet when ripe i remember as a kid climbing the tree that my parents had in there backyard and sitting in this tree eating this fruit till the cows came home , i just can't tell you how yummy this fruit is and they say this fruit is extremely healthy for your eyes , it is maybe way i have Bionic eyes 😂

A nice L shopping ! ^_^ I have learnt the word Leek yesterday with @lizelle that hunt it also (I didn't knew the word in english, but of course I know and like the veggie 😁 ),
and today I learn the existence of the loquat,
I will be more attentive in the department of exotic fruits next time to see if I find it, because a fruit that tastes at the same time apricot, plum and cherry all in one, it deserves to be tasted !
Although exotic fruits are very expensive here, so in general I don't buy them and therefore know very little about them ...😉
We certainly are learning a lot with this contest and i do hope you find this Loquat fruit at not such a expensive price it is certainly a fruit you would keep on top of your list once you have tasted it believe me 😊

Fruits and Vegetables most definitely aplenty loquats definitely delicious when fresh off the tree. Not sure if you get lychee over there they too are yummy delicious freshly picked and consumed.
