
One of the enjoyable aspects of my life is baking. It gives me happiness 😊 I just wanna share my first experience baking Spanish roll and Ube twisted bread. Spanish roll is a Filipino bread the most popular types of bread in the Philippines found in many local bakeries also known as señorita bread or pan de kastila it has oblong or cylindrical in shape with yellowish slightly sweet filling due to eggs, butter, condensed milk and brown sugar. The exterior is sprinkled or rolled with breadcrumbs before baking which provides crunchy contrast to the soft bread. It's commonly eaten before breakfast and merienda or afternoon snack. I love it when the sweet filling is oozing out. I truly enjoy the deliciousness of Spanish roll, eating it gives me simple pleasure 😊
On the other hand is the Ube twisted bread, soft and ultra fluffy filled with creamy Ube jam. Ube is purple yam it use to give bread it's beautiful color without food coloring as well as to make tender. Ube is loaded with vitamin A and C, potassium and anthocyanin. The sweet Ube filling makes it perfect choice for those who love 💖 sweet bread. Ube twisted bread is one of my favorite bread.
Spanish roll and Ube twisted bread is great to be eaten for your pre-breakfast or afternoon snack can be enjoyed with your favorite beverages like coffee, tea, juice or chocolate drink.
