They are saying we can expect our first 80 degree/ 27C days this weekend. That will feel good! It has been warm enough that I've been able to sleep with the window in the bedroom open a crack at night and I can hear the water in the creek as I fall asleep. That feels like summer to me.

Wow, this tulip has so intense colors and the small blossoms are like a purple carpet on the ground - beautiful.
The withered tulip looks also very cool, I like the shape that the petals form.

The cool weather caused the tulip blossoms to last longer this year than I have ever seen. I really enjoyed them. Those fallen redbud blossoms did carpet the drive and looked rather lovely!
We had a bit of sunshine, but are now back to heavy cloud cover and more rain through the weekend. Warmer temps though, and it makes sleeping at night with the windows open a pleasure! I love falling asleep listening to the water in the creek bubbling along!

We have beautiful weather as promised for today. Hopefully they are wrong for tomorrow, for which they predicted rain, but if it rains I would have time for editing photos and posting 😉

Oh, my week was very busy until Wedneaday, but yesterday was a holiday and today I'm off work, riding around on my motorbike 😆

Oh yes, I had a great ride - I filled up my gas tank 3 times yesterday, but it is only a small tank with 3.3 gallons ;)

ooh it's so pleasing to the eyes ! I'm glad you quoted Anne of Green Gables, this has reminded me such beautiful memories ! I have seen the television episodic series last year and was delighted by it ! Anne's vision of life was a pure enchantment to me, I have adored this character ! I didn't know it was a character of litteracy until I watched the film...Lol..I watched all the episods with pure happiness in heart 😍 ..one day my man happened to watch to a replay and I warned him it was the best feeling movie I had watched for maybe ever, and after watching it he told me, well I easily feel why you loved it that much, she is your optimistic, kind and crazy you 😄

Howdy Melinda! Wonderful photos. Did the weather finally start to get nice up there? Here it's been rainy for days and chance of rain everyday this week so we're ready for the rainy season to be over with.

It's like we flipped a switch and now it is summer It has turned hot and humid. Mid 80s and on Saturday there was a tornado 20 miles south of here. More storms and hot weather predicted the rest of the week.

Very interesting Melinda but at least the cold is finally gone. It's been the coolest Spring on record here as well as the wettest but this week we're finally supposed to hit the 90's so I reckon it will be Texas weather for the summer.

We are back to cool weather now. 50s tonight and only into the 60s for daytime highs tomorrow! Lots of sunshine between thunderstorms though! Looks like cool until next week at this time..then some 80s.
