La pequeña Ana María siempre estaba cerca de su mamá, le gustaba mirarla coser, cocinar, regar sus plantas, planchar y hacer todos los quehaceres del hogar. Cuando llegaba el mes de Diciembre, en casa de Ana María todo se vestía de blanco, rojo y verde, sus colores favoritos, y mamá con mucho esmero desempolvaba el arbolito, las figuras del pesebre y todas las decoraciones de navidad. En el centro de la mesa del comedor, la lata de galletas.

Tu abuela cuando aún estaba con vida me regaló esa lata de galletas, hace más de 20 años, era una navidad muy triste para ella porque no tenía dinero para comprarme ropa, zapatos ni otros regalos, ella trabajaba mucho pero todos eran muy pobres, quería darme algo importante, algo maravilloso, pero con tan poco dinero no podía. Cuando vió esa lata de galletas pensó en mi, reunió algo de dinero y la compró. La escondió por algunos días y en una navidad me la entregó, con una enorme sonrisa y casi lágrimas en sus ojos.

Los regalos más importantes que recibimos durante nuestra vida no son los más costosos ni más nuevos, podemos recibir tesoros más valiosos como está lección y como el amor familiar que encierra una simple caja. Ésta lata de galletas guarda una historia y a partir de hoy, la seguirás escribiendo tú. Te amo.

La navidad trae recuerdos de personas que han sido especiales en nuestras vidad y tambien sabores que disfrutamos en esos días, y una de ellas es el de las famosas galletas, gracias por compartir tu post.
