Las bebidas espirituosas como solemos decirles de modo jocoso forman parte de las celebraciones generación tras generación. La preparación de ellas han evolucionado mucho, a nivel mundial son tantas las bebidas ofrecidas al público con diferentes grados de alcohol en su preparación.
Desde bebidas dulces hasta las más fuertes en diferentes tamaños y envases. Además hay muchas personas entrenadas para preparar bebidas de diferentes sabores y con distintos tipos de rones para dar un especial sabor. Hasta cursos y especializaciones en esta área se ofrecen hoy en día para aprender de este arte.

En el último trimestre de cada año suele pasar muy rápido, por lo general y en estos tiempos cada familia hasta donde sea su presupuesto hace sus compras de bebidas espirituosas para compartir en Navidad y Año Nuevo. A veces lo presupuestado sólo cubre alimentos, pero el ingenio es tan grande que algunos las preparan en casa como es el caso de Ponche Crema, otro conocido como un vino que se prepara con antelación como es con las frutas llamadas Píritu (así la conozco, quizás tiene otros nombre) muy seguro es que queda muy rico sin envidiar nada a los vinos embotellados y de fábrica.
En fin, estas fechas no pasan por debajo de la mesa. Hay para todos los gustos y presupuestos.

Se llama Píritu por aquí por oriente... pero no sé que nombre le pueden dar en otras zonas.
En mi entorno se decía: el licor te saco el espíritu bailarín, porque al que no se le veía bailar en todo el año en las fiestas decembrinas bailaba como un trompo. Son parte de la epoca.
