¡Hola, gente de internet! En esta ocasión quiero hablarles de Los Warren, un matrimonio compuesto por Lorraine (Medium) y Ed Warren (demonólogo). Ambos tienen en su haber una larga lista de anécdotas de índole paranormal, gracias a su trabajo, y es de estas (las que en mi opinión son las más aterradoras) de las que quiero hablarles.
Hello, internet people! This time I want to talk to you about The Warrens, a married couple composed by Lorraine (Medium) and Ed Warren (demonologist). Both of them have a long list of paranormal anecdotes to their credit, thanks to their work, and it is about these (the ones that in my opinion are the most terrifying) that I want to talk to you.
De antemano les digo que no pondré los casos más famosos, sino los que en mi opinión fueron más curioso y aterradores (así que no estará Annabelle aquí por ejemplo)

La máscara de Tommy

Los Warren fueron llamados cuando una persona manifestó que la máscara (que no se sabe como había adquirido exactamente) tenía algo extraño. En una ocasión se la había puesto y al quitársela, en el seguía observando la imagen de la máscara y además,le sonreía de forma dantesca.
The Warren were called in when a person said that there was something strange about the mask (it is not known exactly how he had acquired it). On one occasion he had worn it and when he took it off, he could still see the image of the mask on him and it was smiling at him in a Dantesque way.
En su investigación, Lorraine averiguó que la máscara se parecía a un hombre llamado Tommy y que era fiel seguidor de Samael. Este le idolatraba haciendo ritos (donde llevaba la máscara puesta) para que el ente acabara con la vida de sus enemigos. El matrimonio decidió llevarse el objeto para evitar que siguiera lastimando gente y ahora es parte de su museo del ocultismo.
In her investigation, Lorraine found out that the mask resembled a man named Tommy and that he was a faithful follower of Samael. He idolised him by performing rites (where he wore the mask) so that the entity would kill his enemies. The couple decided to take the object with them to stop it from hurting people and it is now part of their occult museum.

Esta figura fue encontrada en Sandy Hook (un poblado estadounidense) propiamente lo hallaron atado a un árbol en el bosque. Poco después, hubo una masacre en una escuela de la localidad donde el responsable (un muchacho) dijo que una entidad con cuernos y ojos enormes le había ordenado matar a todas esas personas.
This figure was found in Sandy Hook (an American town) they found it tied to a tree in the woods. Shortly after, there was a massacre at a local school where the perpetrator (a boy) said that an entity with horns and huge eyes had ordered him to kill all these people.
En su investigación, los Warren develaron que la figura había sido hecha por un hombre que tras una discusión con sus padres, hizo la figura y ofreció su propia alma a satán en un rito para maldecir el pueblo.
In their investigation, the Warren's uncovered that the figure had been made by a man who, after an argument with his parents, made the figure and then offered his own soul to satan in a ritual, to curse the town.
El órgano Maldito
The Cursed Organ
Este órgano lo adquirió un coleccionista de antigüedades quien también era pianista, sin embargo, la primera noche de adquirirlo, el instrumento comenzó a tocarse solo a altas horas de la madrugada. Debido a lo aterrador del hecho, el sujeto llamó a los Warren para deshacerse del órgano y hasta antes de la muerte de ambos esposos, ambos aseguraron que a veces lo seguían oyendo tocarse solo de camino a las escaleras, o que en ocasiones el sonido de éste llegaba hasta su cuarto.
This organ was acquired by an antique collector who was also a pianist, however, the first night after acquiring it, the instrument began to play by itself in the wee hours of the morning. Due to the terrifying nature of the event, the man called the Warrens to get rid of the organ, and even before the death of the husband and wife, both claimed that they sometimes heard it playing on its own on their way to the stairs, or that sometimes the sound of the organ would reach their bedroom.

Una familia en Conneticut, empezó a sufrir de acoso paranormal apenas poco menos de un mes de habitar la casa. A medida que las manifestaciones avanzaban y se hacían más fuertes, la familia decició llamar a Los Warren.
A family in Connecticut began to suffer from paranormal harassment less than a month after moving into their home. As the manifestations grew louder and louder, the family decided to call The Warrens.
Una de las manifestaciones que la familia tenía que soportar ver era una "niño" cuyo rostro parecía el de un anciano desfigurado, además de muchos objetos en movimiento o levitación.
One of the manifestations the family had to endure seeing was a "child" whose face looked like that of a disfigured old man, as well as many moving or levitating objects.
Una vez que los Warren llegaron, empezaron a trabajar en sesiones (de las cuales hay registro fílmico) en dónde se pueden apreciar las manifestaciones de origen Poltergeist. Tras la investigación, el matrimonio concluyó que la entidad era impostora, es decir, una entidad demoníaca que fingía ser un niño. 3 sacerdotes fueron convocados por Ed y Lorraine para hacer una especie de "exorcismo".
Once the Warrens arrived, they began to work on sessions (of which there is a film record) where the manifestations of Poltergeist origin can be seen. After the investigation, the couple concluded that the entity was an impostor, that is, a demonic entity pretending to be a child. Three priests were summoned by Ed and Lorraine to perform a kind of "exorcism".
Aunque la casa fue liberada del mal y el procedimiento fue un éxito, no todos salieron ilesos, ya que uno de los sacerdotes participantes del rito católico, murió 3 días después en extrañas circunstancias.
Although the house was rid of the evil and the procedure was a success, not everyone was unharmed, as one of the sarcedotes participating in the Catholic rite died 3 days later in strange circumstances.
