Reading this morning a post from @pavanjr about the importance of comments, you can see it by clicking here, came to my mind and in fact, I put it in a comment that I left, something that I affirm for a long time: one of the main evils of Hive is the votes automatic.
Of course, some merits must be recognized, for example the whales, the great curators of the platform whom we all want to attract with our publications, they distribute a large number of votes among the thousands of publications daily, it would be an impossible task to do without some tool of help. But behind that we all sneak in, from the one with the least voting power to the largest of the members of the community and that is where one of the important pillars is lost: rewarding quality publications and interacting with their authors.
I must be fair and acknowledge that there are several people and communities that fight vigorously against this deviation, promote and highlight good authors in different ways, with challenges, contests, reports and now also from the radios that have been created. But it is not enough, the vast majority of authors only limit themselves to making their post and trusting robots for both curation and publication income. Nobody remembers reading and supporting others. Perhaps this is so and I am totally confused and fighting against windmills like Don Quixote.
On some occasion I have published something by mistake, empty of all content and I received votes as if it were the best post on my blog, you can search for them, I changed the title and I put "You. I shouldn't have voted for this post ”and I explained why. It is there on the blockchain as a mute witness and conclusive proof that something is wrong with Hive.
Just a day ago, a person I follow published a repeated post, I wrote to him in the comments and he replied that he had done it on purpose because he receives few votes and he believes he deserves more. Probably yes, the photograph is beautiful and its excellent retouching shows.
I am not the one to judge anyone, I do not know if it is right or wrong that he did it, but his action shows that he is in need of recognition and perhaps also a better income. It is just an example and of course, there are a thousand guesses about this type of event, if he thinks he is better than what others see, if he votes accordingly or is only one of those who sit to receive without giving anything in return, yes the platform or the destination is to blame; We can think and write here several different excuses and possibilities, I leave it to your criteria.
The truth is that there is much to improve in various aspects, for my part I have stopped voting automatically for many of those that I follow, I have only kept a small group and I hope to reduce it even more, I read the publications and vote manually, in Sometimes I make comments, it's a lot of work, I don't have much time but I get it from where I can.
That way I think I am a bit fairer, at least I am happier with myself and that is the important thing.
Leyendo esta mañana un post de @pavanjr acerca de la importancia de los comentarios ,puede verlo haciendo clic aquí, vino a mi mente y de hecho así lo puse en un comentario que le dejé, algo que afirmo desde hace tiempo: uno de los males principales de Hive son los votos automáticos.
Por supuesto hay que reconocerles algunos méritos, por ejemplo las ballenas, los grandes curadores de la plataforma a quien todos queremos atraer con nuestras publicaciones, reparten diariamente una gran cantidad de votos entre las miles de publicaciones, sería una tarea imposible de realizar sin alguna herramienta de ayuda. Pero detrás de eso nos colamos todos, desde el que menos poder de voto tiene hasta el más grande de los integrantes de la comunidad y es allí donde se pierde uno de los pilares importantes: recompensar las publicaciones de calidad e interactuar con sus autores.
Debo ser justo y reconocer que existen varias personas y comunidades que luchan denodadamente contra esta desviación, promueven y resaltan a los buenos autores de diferentes maneras, con desafíos, concursos, reportajes y ahora también desde las radios que se han ido creando. Pero no alcanza, la gran mayoría de los autores solo se limita a hacer su post y a confiar en los robots tanto para conseguir ingresos de curación como para los de publicación. De leer y apoyar a otros nadie se acuerda. Quizás esto sea así y yo estoy totalmente confundido y luchando contra los molinos de viento como el Quijote.
En alguna oportunidad he publicado algo por equivocación, vacío de todo contenido y recibí votos como si fuera el mejor post de mi blog, pueden buscarlos, le cambié el título y le puse “Ud. no debería haber votado este post” y expliqué el porqué. Está ahí en la blockchain como mudo testigo y prueba contundente de que algo funciona mal en Hive.
Hace tan solo un día atrás una persona a la que sigo publicó un post repetido, le escribí en los comentarios y me contestó que lo había hecho a propósito porque recibe pocos votos y el cree que merece más. Probablemente sí, la fotografía es hermosa y se nota su excelente retoque.
No soy quien para juzgar a nadie, no sé si está bien o mal que lo haya hecho pero su acción denota que está necesitado de reconocimiento y quizás también de mejores ingresos. Es solo un ejemplo y por supuesto hay mil conjeturas sobre este tipo de eventos, si él cree ser mejor de lo que los demás ven, si el vota como corresponde o solo es de esos que se sientan a recibir sin dar nada a cambio, si la plataforma o el destino tienen la culpa; podemos pensar y escribir aquí varias excusas y posibilidades diferentes, lo dejo a vuestros criterios.
Lo cierto es que hay mucho por mejorar en varios aspectos, yo por mi parte he dejado de votar en forma automática a muchos de los que sigo, solo he conservado un pequeño grupo y espero achicarlo aún más, leo las publicaciones y voto manualmente, en ocasiones hago comentarios, es todo un trabajo, no tengo demasiado tiempo pero lo saco de dónde puedo.
De esa manera creo ser algo más justo, al menos estoy más contento conmigo mismo y eso es lo importante.

Muy bueno que haya más gente dándose cuenta de estos errores de los votos automáticos. Ya sea por el bien de la calidad de tus publicaciones o porque no recibes el apoyo que anhelas, debemos entender que hay mucho por trabajar para seguir mejorando HIVE. No es fácil, pero es necesario y debemos dar nuestro grano de arena para que esto sea aun mejor. Entiendo lo del usuario que repitió las publicaciones por el poco a apoyo que tuvo, pero no debió hacerlo, sabiendo cuales son las normativas de Hive, es peligroso jugar con eso, lo más recomendable es hablarlo en Discord con las grandes comunidades y llamar la atención de una manera más sana, no así. Claro, es como dices, eso queda en el criterio de cada quien, este es el mio, es lo que pienso, y respeto la opinión contraria.... Me gustó mucho este articulo, además de estar muy bien redactado.
