I read @dan's post yesterday (link), one of his few on Hive.
Just re-read it for my #DBuzz compilation. THIS made me stop to think both times: "You can't provide Liberty as a Service."
I think it's a very fascinating way of wording that sentence. I don't think he's admitting defeat, but rather refocusing his strategy. Especially the second part of that sentence. I think he's got an idea for a fundamental shift in mind.

I too thought that was perplexing. I guess all this time, he was trying to provide liberty as a service.
