Textbooks are guides with much knowledge to offer, but DYOR is still our responsibility to either comfirm what the textbook says or to prove a flaw in the textbook.

The thing is the school teaches us that we have to read everything, understand everything, force through everything in a textbook. While that works for school, (to a less degree than it should,) we have to unlearn that habit when we learn something to enhance our life.
