I watched the video and I could see that BBC is being a dick. Do they really want to discredit dozens of experts by using just one of their own? Am I supposed to believe that one person have more knowledge compared to dozens of people in different medical and scientific field?

No conflict of interest passes the scientific method. I don't trust nobody's opinions, even when they come from specialists, I just trust science.

Conflict of interests might no pass the scientific method, if done correctly.

  • But there is definitely many, many conflict of interests involved in the scientific consensus you follow.

And it's because they are NOT following the scientific method properly.

Conflicts of interest exist everywhere not just in science. For instance the conspiracists of the internet need audience to their blog, videos, otherwise it will not be monetized.

But the scientific method is the best ever invented to refute conflicts of interest. I have never seen nothing better. Do you?
