HiveBuzz Ranking update - New key indicators

The #FollowMeAndIFollowBack is considered spam on Hive and will eventually result in downvotes (decreasing your potential earnings).

Buzz's like that also harm our reputation, since it isn't good content.

Better to focus on truly socializing w/people to get followed naturally.

Well, I think you are right that asking people to follow you with the promise that you will follow them back is spammy. It's good that you are here to guide @noelgamingtv.

However, by saying that posts like that is considered "spam", who are actually saying it? Aren't people allowed to decide wherever they want to use their Resource Credits (even those from delegators) at, for as long as they don't harm people?

The functions "downvote" (for the entire Hive blockchain) and "mute" (for selected Hive frontends) already exist if a user really finds a post or user undesirable. Let Hive be truly decentralized as it was intended.

He was on-boarded by @cristinealimasac with the intention of us helping him and the others do well and contribute to #HIVE so I am trying to guide him, and want to PREVENT @noelgamingtv and others from getting blacklisted

My comment wasn't a form of censorship it was information

I did not say that you are trying to censor a new onboarded user. I am referring to hivewatchters's actions as discouraging new users from continuing on using Hive after they accidentally make mistakes here.

Ah yeah, I know what you mean @anonymouser.

*My advice was mainly to prevent the user(s) from getting flagged by HiveWatchers.

The solution is probably to onboard so many new users that freedom will reign 😁✔️

Yes, I may not have worded it perfectly but my point is that it will result in downvotes, and possibly get him placed on a blacklist.

He is a friend or family member of @cristinealimasac so I know him indirectly, and am guiding him to do well on #HIVE 👍

Nice seeing you here on dbuzz.
Welcome!

By any chance, are you related to the owner of the account @rixz? He has a post here very similar to yours.
