This has inspired me to reconsider my voting behaviour.
Well, you're still one of my best curators in my entire time spent on this platform. I don't know how I got your attention, but it's been life changing. 99.9% of my posts on Leofinance that have gotten to above average payouts have been possible thanks to you. I guess plenty of whales on Hive that don't even bother about manual curating should have you as an example.
What life would be on Hive without Leofinance and @onealfa...

This feeling is very good, I hope to be able to grow in LEO reasonably close to what I am in POB, and with that being able to do a double curation too, good quality content deserves it

I'm still new on this platform, still trying to stand my ground and know what's going on, however I've taken my time to go through you post and its motivating. So I will do my best to be creative in making a post to relay positivity in the platform.
Great that you are doing this, but I guess it will be a hell of a job making sure to spread it out over as much as good authors as possible.
That's a MASSIVE stake! I've had lot of faith in POB. They've got good curation, tokenomics etc. I've had lots of interest and got some tiny stake myself :)

Kudos for doing manual curation... I realize that when you hold a lot of stake that can be a chore; on the other hand, I've always felt that the core of "social" is human beings not automation, and I've pretty much stuck to that for the 4 1/2 years I've been part of this community.
Alas, I doubt I will get to enjoy the benefit of your generosity as I rarely publish the kind of content likely to part of both LeoFinance and POB. But you never know!
In the meantime, you are certainly inspiring a lot of people... and that is really cool!

of course, there's no way to curate without bias and having faves, lol on the emoji idea it's pretty good and also there are at least two POB people who are active wanting to do and focus on curation posts that will include seeing if the poster isn't someone pretending they are something they are not basically.

Obviously with such an offer it is impossible not to contribute at least one publication to get a double reward, congratulations in advance to those who get the recognition that our friend imposes for the quality and his work as a curator, is something we all appreciate here and motivates us to share our ideas, either in POB or in Leofinance.

Some of us are watching like a hawk, I'm not scared to throw a flag .....been on here way long enough to know how deep and complicated the crap can sink to. I flat out don't have the power on this account to do things alone but am damn good at rallying the troops to say the least.
In POB since I am very active in chats , dms and even my own servers we want a clean as possible community of those who aren't scammy or abusive or just plain mean.
I personally want a clean platform without it being draconian, there's a razors edge between being over aggressive and under. There's enough fire power between people or with large stake holders to keep some of the b.s. out and perhaps it's time to have some sort of chat or agreement on some basic things. I'm down for a chat on voice when time allows, it humanizes people and you can get a much better vibe off who all you are sharing a space with. You threw a flag or two I saw on something that absolutely deserved it. People also have a space to come in and explain or plead their case basically. I see some on blacklists who get to trending, some who only vote or want to collude to pretty much only vote for one hue of person and if that script was flipped it would be a huge uproar. Also hope big votes from you and others are thought out to see if the person is on known blacklists or those milking and dumping etc....am sure you catch my drift
Sometimes biz/silent whales only is a bad thing, people should pay attention to those who have staked or want to invest (cough) but want to see how the power structure will play out with a solid game plan.
In the chat I was blathering about it being up to us, all of us, on all 'levels' because we have downvotes for a reason and though I hate flagging it's rather obvious that there are some holes in the armor. I know not everyone is going to agree or love everything or everyone but some of us with a lil more oomph be it in flat out stake power or power of gathering people etc......I feel we have more motivation to ensure a successful community. Emotions need to get taken out of some issues imho. This is long because am guessing at least a few will read this long arse text wall but ce la vie.
If people see odd things it's good to know that a LOT are wanting more focus on this. There's more to say but not on here. I've rambled enough ;)

Yes I understand individuals differs in character and varies. The point I'm trying to make is no matter how good an individual is, not everybody will like you and give you positive vibe.
So I will encourage we keep watch and stay positive in the society.

So POB rewards are more than Leo, is it because of Leo Price declining ?
Yes and also POB has managed to maintain its price over 1 HIVE because of the good tokenomics .
Although right now POB looks attractive , we gotto keep long-term perspective in mind .
Will POB be able to provide us usecases like LEO did ? For me that's what matters. If they manage to do that , POB will be one of the best tokens on HE .

I was quite surprised myself to find that my 37K POB stake brings 1.666 times more rewards than my 569K Leo stake. (35:21)1.666666?

This multiplier of voting power to vote value is continuously decreasing for POB and I believe that this multiplier makes a lot of difference. As #pob is a new community, it has higher multiplier and #leo being the old community the multiplier has stabilized. You may also want to see the multiplier of #bht which is again a new community offering extra ordinary curation rewards but the token is priced far lower hence the direct dollar impact looks negligible.
It will be interesting to see pob now, without purchase orders from you, hopefully it can hold a good price!
what I hear is that people want an organized road map and detailed white paper because us oldtimers have seen too many be the 'big new shiny' and fizzle out for any number of reasons. Nobody knows how things will go but right now they seem to be shifting a bit to people using the front end, staking and encouraging discourse , healthy debate but there are a lot of us who want a road map and some more information on how the dev ends are going or that the communities wants/needs are integrated into what work is being done.

First? It is very possible that "double boom" has happened before. Without even my special attention to make it. I do manual scrolling of new posts ( In curation) with my .Leo account, then switch to .POB account and do it all again. If post holds both TAGs, chances are big that my trails will intercept. Trying to avoid upvoting the same authors again and again, creating "favorites'.
Never the less I have already been accused by some POB's wannabe-whales and "respectable authorities" in doing circle-jerking.

I manually curate and am looking for great human created content that demonstrates a decent effort. Although I want to set high standards for POB and LeoFinance, I can also appreciate that not every post needs to be an essay or a deep dive. I have way more fun curating on Hive than I do on web2.

Now .. I suppose then that I am not on the margin (it is not a fact that I lose sleep either 😅), my native language is Spanish and I use a translator. However, looking at it from a general point of view is to close the number of "possible cures" ... Here in Hive, there are people from all over the world where English is not the strong language. However, that does not mean that the content or publications are not of quality. Just thoughts, the blockchain is free!

Yes, sure, blockchain is free.
And there are possible very high quality, and high value posts in other languages.
But manual curation first of all is about READING the post.
I do not upvote anything without reading.
And I see no enough reasons to waste my time for translations to myself every other language post. So I just SKIP them.
Therefore - such posts simply are missing even smallest chance to become a target for my upvote.
As simple as that.
