Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!
Isaiah 5:20 KJV

Who determines what is good and who is evil? How do we know whose idea of right or wrong is correct?
you got it
If what you believe is false, and there is an extraordinary amount of evidence of it being false . . sometimes it's important for us to change our beliefs 🙂 #Adapt
I guess a good sub question would be how do we know if our beliefs are actually false? Doesn't faith in our beliefs lead us to not be able to recognize when those predispositions are false?
Suffering is more or less caused by false beliefs & unrealistic expectations, so if we are suffering, it is time to question our beliefs and expectations IMO @patrickulrich. Faith in things that make sense = ease, faith in falsehood = poor choices > mental illness > delusions.
I think if you test the limit of your beliefs enough, you see quite quickly how they are flowed
Yeah, that's true @theophile.roos testing beliefs is one sure way to figure out which beliefs are true, and which beliefs are false. Just be sure you actually want to know what is true or false, otherwise you will likely stay attach to falsehood to fit in or just out of habit.

Descartes is the answer! 😌
Nice @theophile.roos 😀👏
Generally, no. There are exceptions, however. What does "stand" mean, for instance? That could mean active violence, whereas it could also mean silent protest. Also, what are the consequences? I believe high school shouldn't start until 10, but it's not worth getting arrested.
