Lights and symbols on the gate
Hello everyone dear friends and welcome back to my blog. Today I share my watercolor painting which represents a classic play of light and shadow on a gate. The light highlights a series of ancient symbols present on an old gate and connected to Christian worship. A circle and a cross inscribed in it, with fish and the sun with rays, are symbols of the resurrection and divine light.

The symbolic forms highlighted by a ray of sunshine appear from the lateral shadow of the wall. In the background I represented a garden full of green to bring out the dark shadows of the foreground.

Luci e simboli sul cancello
Ciao a tutti cari amici e ben tornati sul mio blog. Oggi condivido il mio dipinto ad acquarello che rappresenta un classico gioco di luci e ombre su un cancello. La luce mette in evidenza una serie di simbologie antiche presenti su un vecchio cancello e collegate al culto cristiano. Un cerchio ed una croce inscritta in esso, con pesci e il sole con i raggi, sono simboli della resurezzione e della luce divina.
Le forme simboliche messe in luce da un raggio di sole, appaiono dall'ombra laterale del muro. Sullo sfondo ho rappresentato un giardino ricco di verde per far risaltare le ombre scure del primo piano.
Spero che il mio dipinto vi piaccia, vi mando un abbraccio solare.
