“Literary Coffee & Autumn Exhibition”

Hello everyone and welcome back to my Blog,

Today I would like to share a wonderful experience with you: the discovery of an art exhibition in my city in a totally random way. It was the month of October and I was walking with a friend along the main streets of the historic centre, when a sign caught our attention: “Literary Coffee & Autumn Exhibition”. Intrigued by the writing, we searched the internet for directions to this event, but it didn't seem to exist. The plot thickens… So we decided to simply follow the directions on the sign!

It was a small building, not far from the station, in which some art critics had decided to set up an autumn exhibition in the hall on the ground floor. The things I liked the most were that, first of all, it was a totally free event and, moreover, before entering the heart of the exhibition there was a small café area where you could sip something hot while reading the introduction to the exhibition.

The show featured smaller artists, most of whom I'd never heard of, but also some more well-known local painters. A very interesting aspect was the common thread: autumn in all its splendour. In fact, watercolor paintings, oil paintings, works of sculpture and modern graphic illustrations were exhibited in the different rooms, but the common theme was the beautiful autumn season.

It was a different afternoon than usual that taught me a good lesson: sometimes what you don't know, or that doesn't even seem to exist on the web, or that doesn't have names of famous artists, can still be instructive, interesting and rewarding for the eyes.
I hope to be able to convey the beauty of these works with a few simple photos taken during the event.

See you next time!
