20191104_114855.jpg

Hi there, welcome back to The Best of Discovery-it! All the best posts voted by the Discovery-it curator team will have their own dedicated space within the Hive blockchain. This digest intends to bring to light all those authors who often remain unnoticed and therefore reward all those who create quality posts, leading them to establish themselves on the platform. But that's not all!
After a careful selection, our curators will also choose the most deserving articles among all those voted to create a ranking of the Top posts of the day.
So who are today's winners?

A reflection about photography in the 21st century - Una riflessione sulla fotografia nel XXI secolo

by @delilhavores

Nowadays, it often happens to fill all the memory of your smartphone or to have the cloud storage systems completely clogged. But who are those responsible? According to the data, they would be photos and videos. That’s why delilhavores shares with us her solution: once every three months, the author likes to select the best photos and print them! What do you think about this topic?

Slit-Scan Rotations on a 360 Camera

by @oddballgraphics

Oddballgraphics shares with us another great series of work realized with lightpainting technique. “The pole is rotating at one rotation per 20 seconds while I move it arround in any pattern I want. On the more random ones at the end I did all movements without the aid of the rotator and they only took 10 seconds” the photographer said.

Realistic Characters 4 - Personaggi realistici 4

by @matteus57

This project is part of the series of realistic reinterpretations of manga characters. The intent is to make the character as recognizable and iconic as possible and, in this post, matteus57 chose one of the protagonists of a well-known manga/soul: Edward Elric from Full-Metal-Alchemist. The artist shows us some steps of the realization: the modelling, the adding of the details and the part of shadows and lights.

Brunette, Blonde or Red?

by @lallo

“The world is beautiful because it is varied” this is how this new lallo’s post starts. The author shows us three beautiful girls, a brunette, blonde and red. But the surprise is that none of them exist, they are all digital creations with artbreeder!
