Practicing the art of drawing "Native American" / Practicando el arte de dibujar "Nativo Americano"

by @javilinares

For Native Americans, Thanksgiving Day symbolizes the beginning of a history of centuries of oppression and genocide that resulted in the loss of their vast territory, language and identity. Different groups in New England commemorate the date as a National Day of Mourning, thus raising awareness of the painful historical process that was forged in blood and fire. In this post javilinares shows us a drawing inspired by a Native American and you can also find some steps of the creative process.

Making portraits in a still life area [ENG] [ES]

by @jlphotographyart

Today jlphotographyart shares with us some portraits that he made in an open field. “It was a place with a lot of green area next to a road, among so much green there was a part where the grass was dry and it was right there where it called my attention to make them and right in a rush hour where the sun was super strong, you can't imagine how much it burned us but I feel and I think it was worth it because I loved these results” the photographer told us. The final result is very beautiful, don’t miss it!

Rudolf Löw, Fuga c moll (op. 10 nr 1) | Secrets of Organ Playing Contest, Week 100

by @partitura

In this post you can find a beautiful video with a performance by partitura: Rudolf Löw’s fugue in c minor. The author talks to us about the story of this great composer and some information about the fugue. “Rudolf Löw (1832 - 1898) was a Swiss organist and composer. He was a student of Carl Ferdinand Becker (Orgel) and Ignaz Moscheles (Piano). […] As composer he wrote mostly in a style inspired by the old masters of counterpoint like Bach and Händel. With the exception of a few Lieder, his output as a composer was never printed” the author said. Read this post to find out more!
