Hi there, welcome back to The Best of Discovery-it! All the best posts voted by the Discovery-it curator team will have their own dedicated space within the Hive blockchain. This digest intends to bring to light all those authors who often remain unnoticed and therefore reward all those who create quality posts, leading them to establish themselves on the platform. But that's not all!
After a careful selection, our curators will also choose the most deserving articles among all those voted to create a ranking of the Top posts of the day.
So who are today's winners?

New World

by @julesquirin

“New World” is the title of the latest illustration by julesquirin made using Blender. “Quick walk-through: there's a hill, which is a sculpt and a displace modifier. There's 2 poles and a bunch of cables, just 2 cylinders and a bunch of path curves” this is the description of the artwork. In the post you can find some steps of realization and we can say that the result is simply amazing!

On Thin Ice

by @oddballgraphics

In this post oddballgraphics shares with us a beautiful selection of lighpainting photos. “A few tests I did with the Ricoh Theta Z1 being rotated with an Edelkrone One Pan/Tilt combo in 60 second exposures. […] The Edelkrone One is amazingly accurate, smooth and versatile but there are still a few gripes with the app that I hope they will fix in future updates” the photographer told us.

My Digital Painting | The Birds of the Totem Pole (English – Spanish)

by @librepensadora

Today’s digital painting by librepensadora represents a Totem. “I decided to make a Totem that serves as a nest for many wild birds. This drawing is a product of my imagination. To carry out this work, I started from a sketch I made in Photoshop, and finally, I painted it with my Star 03 V2 XP-PEN graphics tablet” the artist said. In the post you can also see some steps of the creative process, don’t miss it!

by @osak

Today’s artwork by osak is called “Deep Breath” and it’s an acrylic painting. The main subject is a swan surrounded by a very colourful landscape, don’t miss it! The artist also shows us some beautiful details of the project.
