Hi, Hive friends!
Showing you some sunset photos of Gilutongan Island in Cebu, Philippines.
Back in the day when I was living in the Philippines, I spent my weekends doing some volunteer work. I volunteered as one of the photographers to take portrait photos of the families living on the island.
My friends and I waited for the sunset. I brought my tripod with me to get the best photos of the sunset. From the island, you can see the panorama of Cebu City, the main island of Cebu proper.
I used the manual setting. Good thing I brought my tripod with me or else I couldn't get this beautiful sunset photo.
Because of the manual setting, I love the fact that the sea water looks calm in here.
I love capturing sunsets, and I am thinking of creating a sunset painting using these photos. A nice subject for my painting projects, if I'm not busy.
Sunset photos make excellent subjects for a painting. For me, sunset is the best time when all colors explode in the sky at different times.
Of course, we all agree that there is magic during sunset.
I am posting these photos because I miss the sunset in the Philippines.
Additionally, I miss my friends going on photowalks on the weekends.
And I missed those times when I jumped from one island to another.
Believe it or not, I feel fortunate to have had some of the best times of my life in the Philippines.
Someday, I hope that my kids will have the opportunity to visit the Philippines soon. However, I need more money to have extra funds for travel. XD
I think they will enjoy visit different islands in the Philippines. :D
That looks so beatiful and you make me miss the sea 😊
I miss the warm sea in the Philippines, although we are 30 minutes away from the sea here in France but it's cold. XD
