That's a fascinating piece of history, @dbooster! It's wild to think about how hyperinflation changed things so drastically. Those Mercury dimes really are stunning—it's my favorite design too. The Barber dimes and dragon 10 sen coins are cool, but there's something special about that Mercury dime. And yeah, carrying them around would be risky; better to keep them safe in your silver drawer. It's always fun to take them out and admire their beauty every now and then.

I keep thinking that next time I'm in the States, I'm going to try to buy a few rolls of Mercury dimes. In addition to great coins to keep for myself, giving one of them to people will make a great simple gift.
