So Arsenal have posted a loss of 47 million after this lock down business began and it does look bad because Arsenal spent the money poorly and were eroding their income by not finishing in champions league spots for years
Add to that the Emery sacking cost then 10 mil, some questionable player wage deals and the lack of income from players we did sell we were always going to be in the hole
It was obvious when you can’t even sell certain players and you have to pay out their contracts to them to leave, that you made some bad financial decisions
Say what you want about Wenger but he ran a tight ship, brought in less shit and groomed some of the best young players so we didn’t need to spend big
Now you can see the real value that man brought to Arsenal! They are shambolic on abs off the pitch and the numbers don’t lie

Arsene Wenger has really helped arsenal alot ,he had a great impact in the team when he was still the manager of the team. The team hasn't be able to finish in top four for like some years now. I think arteta is trying but I feel they should get a manager that can take them to champions League.
It just shows the drop in quality since he left, he really kept that team and club together for years. I think Mikel has done well given the circumstances and we're not going to secure a better manager than him without funds and champ league so we have to suck it up for now and trust in the process
Wenger was an absolute business minded one, you just can't take that away from him
Dude was a legend of the game and miles ahead of a lot of managers, Im sure with impaired earnings now a lot of managers are going to have to change their tactics and recruitment policies
It's really hard to compete at the top level once you don't have Champions League football. Leicester have done really well in that respect.
Leicester have been an amazing story, after winning the league and getting champ league football, they didn't go out and spend too big, they bought reasonable priced players, continued with youth and have built a solid team. Really impressed with the management of the club
