Good evening everyone and thanks for stopping by!
Tuesdays are Zoom Bible study day so that was the first thing on the agenda for the day. It was good 😇
Afterwards we discussed about preparing music for Sunday-just in case and then headed out for our hike. The day was grey and overcast; no rain really being called for until tomorrow. The forest is laden with all kinds of berries. There is quite the crop of them, if you are of a mind to eat.
The only problem, my husband would say, is that no matter how well you wash them, they still have little bugs down deep in between the little fruit berry buds. He is so right!!😳 you are going to eat those bugs along with the fruit! I don’t much care for eating bugs, so unfortunately, that has kind of ruined eating those berries for me.
There is always something new to see on our daily hikes.
The grass with the mountains in the background is very pretty.
Actifit-Lamb wanted to sit out under her umbrella because it looked like it was going to rain any minute.
Shortly thereafter, the rain began. You know, one of those peppery type rains. We were headed back down and at the trailhead, I took this pic of a daisy. The daisies this year are everywhere in multitudes. This one had a few rain droplets on its petals.
As we continued on towards home, the real rain began. It sounded so nice on the tree canopy and I could’ve listened for a long time-if I weren’t out in it being drenched! Fortunately, I had my trusty hiking umbrella and that kept most of it at bay. I told @silvertop that it would probably stop once we got home, and sure enough it did! 😜
Here shortly, it’ll be time for bed, for work is looming in the morning.

You always have such wonderful pictures to share. I wish I could get a little umbrella for Brownie like Actifit-Lamb has, but I'm not sure how she would be able hold it while we are walking.
She needs an umbrella hat! That would work!
Lol! That's a great idea, except for one tiny little problem, Brownie hates hats. My wife has, over the years, bought several Halloween costumes for Brownie. She wears the costumes no problem, but will always remove the hat first thing. Usually my wife can't even get a picture taken before Brownie has removed the hat. It's pretty comical to watch.
Oh well.....it was a thought!
Well... that would be added protein with bugs in the berries, LOL! Tuesday is a great start of the day for you. I, too, continue to take theology classes, but the series ends this week. I also continue to access daily Masses of EWTN via YouTube. Our Parish Church is open daily, and I am able to do a quick visit anytime during the day. All Masses are limited to 100 parishioners, and we are asked to call ahead to reserve our spot. Face cover is required in public anywhere here in my town. How are things progressing in you nreck of woods, sis?

Hey @silversaver888! Well....there is a state mandate in place making it a misdemeanor if you don't wear them inside all public places and outdoor public places where you can't maintain social distancing. The problem is that no one is enforcing it and there a those people who will not wear them. I could DM you more about the worst of the lot though. Our church is open, but we still are not going yet as there are still folks who do not wear them. So, we are leading this weekend from home via FB live again. I have a bout 80-90% compliance with the patients at work, but as one lady told me, what cop is going to come and arrest her anyway? I look at the mask wearing as protecting others and myself. I just wish everyone saw it that way rather than an infringement on their civil rights, Ugh!! Take care my sweet sis and have a wonderful night. Much love and hugs!!💕🤗😘🌸
The governor of California has just announce a penalty and fine of $300.00 for anyone who does not wear a face cover in public. There has been a surge here in California. Restaurants are once again closing their doors.
Wow! Just curious.....do you think they will actually enforce it? Most people here don't really believe our state will.
When you talked about the bugs, all my desire to eat the berries vanished.
