Hey everybody and π for stopping by today! ππ
We headed to church this morning; we were expecting a visiting church from Yakima Washington to come and do worship with us and their pastor to do the sermon. It can be very refreshing to have someone different other than who you are used to to lead worship and to give the sermon. It was an enjoyable time. Afterwords there was a barbecue for everyone and we stayed and was engaged in conversation with one of the guys from that church for over 45 minutes on many many topics. It was a good time and we enjoyed ourselves.
Once home, I made mocha Frappuccinoβs for us and we decided to go ahead and go shopping since the day was rainy and actually cool. I donβt mind the high near 60, but there was zero sun and we were totally socked in with a misty rain that fell all day long.
We stopped on the way home, at the post office to pick up a package full of catnip toys for our kitty boys. Boy were they excited! They could smell it long before they found it and was hunting all over the house looking for the new package. It was funny!
As we approach the 4th, rhe increasing sound of fireworks as they are being shot off in the valley, are making their way to our ears here in the house. Itβs not a bad thing; I can remember a time back in Ohio when we were shooting off 250 foot aerial fireworks! It was a sight to behold and a lot of fun!
Tomorrow marks our countryβs 246th birthday! I wonder what plans are being made for 2026?
