The day dawned sunny βοΈ and crystal clear! We met Jan at 10 AM partly to get our hike π₯Ύ done and partly because the afternoon was set aside to join the tea π« party for our neighborβs girls.
The hike was cool and relatively bug free π¦ I was happy about the lack of mosquitoes π¦!!!
Once done, @silvertop and myself set out to get some βfairyβ presents π. You see, the girlsβ mom had requested no gift but presents π for the fairy π§ββοΈ garden πͺ΄ were okay. π Fortunately, I knew just the place to get such items and off we went. We caught some nice photos along the way!
The Abbotsford Air Show is traditionally the first weekend in August every year. The beauty of living where we do, often affords us a pretty good view of it. Today, we were in the car π while they were flying and could only get the evidence that they were there!
Our son on Friday was stuck in a loader all day ( air conditioned and just waiting for the city trucks to take on a load). He said he was bored, but I say a perfectly relaxing way to end your workweek!
The tea π« party π was a success! The fairies π§ββοΈ have lots of new things to outfit their homes with! Out of respect, no pics were taken.

Hey @queenstarr! I've good; how about you? Yes, the silo is for storing silage for the dairy cows. Our area is dairy and farming, but most of the crops (corn) is for the feeding of the cows come winter. I am hoping soon to take my new camera and head out into the surrounding area and take pictures of barns with silos. It intrigues me how they will turn out. I've not downloaded anything yet from the camera to use in posts as I am getting used to it as opposed to the iPhone camera. I have to laugh as often I have to remind myself to get the iPhone and take a pic or two so I have something to go with my posts!

I do understand you well. Tbh once with a camera, you'd totally forget you have a phone. Hopefully you download the pictures from camera and add into post, will be nice to see those Silo. They're so massive, wow, I wonder how many it can store in.
