After a good sleep, I woke up in a bit of a stupor. I must have slept π pretty hard last night!
The weather was total cloud βοΈ cover and it really looked π like we might get some rain. βοΈ They werenβt calling for it though, and the temperature was much cooler that itβs been being. Thatβs always a plus! ππ
We set out on a hike mid afternoon. Jan came with. As you may have read previously, we are headed to the Gold Mine Trail again on Monday. I took todayβs hike as a dry run for having the camera π· harness on along with a backpack full of lambs π to see if the two were compatible to wear together. They are but arenβt as well. Whereas they are comfortable together, they do trap a bit of body heat which made todayβs hike hotter than I would have liked. Mondays temperatures are to be around 82 which would increase how hot I would get with all the gear on. Iβm going to have to ditch the harness and stow the camera π· elsewhere. Trial runs are good! πππ
We stopped up at Towhee Ridge for a photo shoot for @actifit-lamb and the newest members of the family herd. She has asked me to save the photos for her as sheβs wanting to do a post next week. So, I will show one of her from the hike today.

Fall is just around the corner and as you can see, the Big Leaf Maples are working at it early. Lots of other trees are joining them, but thereβs no color to the early fall offerings.

It's hard to tell the boy no when he begs for whip cream, lol! I do limit his quantity and he is very active. Cyle is still a bigger build cat, but he's thinner, partly because he's older and also has mild asthma. He is active as well! We agonized over their food (LOL, they eat better than we do!)when we were choosing it. Oh, to be a kitty in our home! Love ya sis!π€πππΈ
