Nice Sunday And A Late Afternoon Walk - IAAC #291 - Actifit: January 24, 2021

On Sunday it was quite nice weather and I took a long walk in the late afternoon, and the issues with the app still persists, let's hope that it will be fixed soon.

After my walk I met up with some friends, which ended up taking a bit longer than planned, but I managed to do all posting for the day even if it got a bit late.

Here are some pictures from the late afternoon.

First I walked past Rålambshovsparken and then up on the West Bridge.

I took this picture from the top, and then had some fun manipulating it, can you see which one is the original?

Continueing I walked over the bridge and onto Långholmen, where I saw some beautiful old houses, and then over a smaller bridge to Södermalm.

And these pictures where taken along the northern shore of Södermalm and after walking all the way to Slussen.

And this is some more views from Södermalm, and also from Riddarholmen.

The old church is Riddarholmskyrkan and King Magnus Ladulås is buried inside, he was the son of Birger Jarl who united Sweden almost 800 years ago.

The other big building is the House Of Lords, they no longer have any political power, but the nobility still exist.

Your post is full of wonderful images. Those looks more beautiful than the previous images in your previous post. Any new camera?

Nice to know the short history of Sweden and about the great person who united the Sweden, and his son. Does the House Of Lords is something like the Buckingham Palace of the UK?

Sorry to hear that you are still having problem with your steps count in the actifit app. Did you find out any problem which can be solved? Or, you need to buy a new phone?

Thanks a lot Hafiz, and your suggestion worked, so more steps is coming soon, and it's the same camera but it could be the light, maybe it works better in some lights compared to others.

As to our House Of Lords, it's like the House Of Lords in the UK, but it has not had any official political power since the 70's, and a small amount in the century before that.

Buckingham Palace is the seat of the Queen of the UK, comparable to our Royal Palace, we do still also have a King, also without political power, and even one step further in that case, he is by law forbidden to make any political moves of any kind whatsoever, so a more ceremonial position with handing over the Nobel Prize and stuff like that.
