Run Forrest Run!

Welcome to another edition of #MotivationMonday, in which I try to write and hopefully motivate!
This time however, I’m going to give it personal (exercising) touch!

RUN Forrest RUN!
Remember Forrest Gump? I’m sure you’ve seen the movie or at the very least gotten a reference to it…
And that’s how I’ve felt everyday for the past couple of weeks. No no, I’m not in the army, I’m not ‘special’ or a fan of a box of chocolate… but the running part, yes that part, I’ve been doing that EVERY DAY!
I spice up my life with ‘challenges’ often and this time as an experiment (SCIENCE!!!) of what I can handle I’ve decided to really push myself. Of course there is the fact that I do actually need it and that I do need to lose weight…
So here we are… Where exactly? We’re sitting here with half dead legs asking ourselves how we’re going to do it all over again tomorrow.

Stepping it up!
To make matters worse, I mean, more interesting I’ve added full body workouts to my routine. Every Sunday, Tuesday and Thursday I’ve added two rounds of squats, abs, pushups, bicep curls and military press to my workouts.
Running can only get you so far (pun intended) but I can’t rely on just cardio to get in shape. Hence the added workout.

Also I’ve randomly decided to add a morning walk/run to my routing too. I’ve been going in the evening for the past weeks but now I also want to use that morning window. This way I can see how my body will react and a you know, enjoy the morning birds for a change . I even ran twice yesterday. Crazy, I know.

I’ll show you my step count for the last few weeks… just as proof!




I’m gonna be honest, the last couple of days have been hard. And I haven’t slept enough so for the first time in months I’m going to try and go to sleep before 12! Wish me luck!
