Hi everyone. I’m back. The last five days have been all about family, holidays, decorating for Christmas and shopping Black Friday deals. Somehow five days off of work disappeared in the blink of an eye. I managed to squeeze in a few short posts but I didn’t even keep up with daily Actifit posts! It will be nice to get back into routine.
This picture is the best one I took on my evening walk tonight. The sun had left a brilliant pink glow in the west, and the colors reflected in the sheet of ice covering the pond.
But let’s back up to the beginning of the walk. This shot is actually looking East over my house at the glow of the setting sun in the trees.
And here are a few I took of the sun as it dropped low on the horizon, leaving a yellow glow.
As I walked, the yellows turned to reds as the sun made its exit with great fanfare.
And at last I reached the pond, where I captured the last light of day.

looks lovely there. I have a secret weapon when it comes to christmas...... I don't do it haha. I get loads of people saying i'm a miserable grinch but the truth is we are really happy at that time of year as we don't get caught up in all the madness. Here in the Philippines they start playing christmas songs in aUGUST IN THE SHOPS....AUGUST DUDE, CAN YOU IMAGINE!
