I agree with Fashioncoder! Be very very careful when doing anything on the ETHW Proof of Work version of Ethereum. If you have your metamask set up to work with multiple blockchains, check multiple times that you have it set to the right chain for what you are about to do! If you do something on the wrong chain you are likely to get rekt!
ETHW is rising in price, now it us about $11. That is Much Less than ETH which is about $1380. If you were on the wrong chain and you were about to trade one token - you could be spending $1380 when you think you're spending $11. Hex on ETHW is rising too. People are buying it on ETHW because they know it did 10,000X on ETH. But ETHW is risky and could fail or get attacked at any time. I am personally not even setting up metamask for ETHW. If I do in the future it will be on a fresh Linux Virtual Machine!

I should be able to find my pre-merge ETH wallet with my pre-merge ETH PoW in it, am I correct ?
Your ETHW wallet address is the same as your ETH address, just on a different chain now. So whatever you had before the merge, you have 3 times now - on ETH, ETHW and ETF. You can see what you have on ETHW by searching your address here:

(Note: They JUST changed the ticker symbol for ETF to ETHF!)
