It’s dry season, I try my best to secure water for my farm crops and livestock.
My Actifit report card in more on my activities inside the farm. Actually it’s Sunday afternoon when I got information that there’s bush fire going on everywhere around my farm.
I notified my foreman, and we went to stop fire from coming to my cassava and yam farm.
We do it by clearing dry grasses around the farm and setting them (the glasses we cleared) on fire.
By so doing, there’ll be ashes from the burnt grasses which then forms line round the farm. This ashes wouldn’t allow other strange fire to cross over to our farm.
It’s a tedious process to secure farm lands during this dry season, but we have to undertake them in order to save our crops.
