On Saturday with @vesytz decide to make a car trip around Strandzha mountain and pay a visit to our friend in village White Water.
First, we went to our place and watering the garden the hit the road to Sredets and from there we took the east road.
We stopped at very different villages and places that look interesting. Some of them look abandoned with no living soul. There was 50 km that we don't see even a single car.
In the past, this region was full of people, but now their lots of villages that live from one to two people. Very unfortunate.
The journey was very cool and refreshing, lot of nature and green. Еven driving was not tiring.
When we pass the quiet road we reach the White Water village and there we met with 2 of our bike group that came with cycling.
In the evening we had a party at our friend's house.

It is obviously a wonderful trip you have done with car. The photographs indicating about the beauty of the surrounding place. I have not understand the reason of leaving the people the area. You have mentioned many of the people was used to live there but now only two three family full stop what is the reason is it urbanization?
When Bulgaria pass from Socialist/Communist government of the state towards Capitalism and democracy. Politicians began to destroy everything that built before, instead of upgrading. People in the villages no longer had anything to live on. The old ones stayed and the young ones went to the big cities or abroad to look for work. And after 30 years result is depopulation of entire areas.

A friend of mine said if you want to see all landmarks and awesome places in Strandzha mountain you'll need 3 days for 15 km . It's full of history !BEER !ENGAGE 5
