Hello everyone π,
Happy hump day ππ and a very warm welcome to my world π. As always glad you stopped by. I am definitely grateful for this day and as it draws to a close, it's time to take a peek into how my stepping went and also share some of the trending stories I came across. Come on, let's get cracking π¨.
So I began the day as I usually do, a few rounds of brisk walking π£ and jogging around the neighborhood π². It was a nice cloudy morning with lots of beautiful fresh air π.
Next I was back indoors, where I rested for a while before logging into my emails and trending news of the day.
Locally, a rather quiet day except for the usual political shenanigans πΉ. The elections are coming up in August so campaigning is ongoing.
Globally, Ukraine still trending, today and yesterday intense shelling in the east. In Mariupol, the Russian forces advancing towards that steel plant π±. Elsewhere in Strasbourg, EU ministers proposed a complete ban on Russian oil by 2023. Although Hungary and Slovakia doubt they can successfully do itπ΅.
Over in crypto land, bitcoin subtly up from 37k and is at 39k. Some analysts predicting a short squeeze, so we may see a spike upwards in the next few days.
The US federal reserve has hiked interest rates by half a percentage point, the biggest hike in two decades, to help fight high inflation.
After watching some of these crypto analysis videos and news. I got the cleaning and tidying up chores going. Then later in the afternoon, I headed to the city centre π² for a few errands. I walked around for a while before going back home π‘.
Next came, the usual nap π€. It was amazing and I got up some time early evening feeling well rested π―. I then continued watching some of the earlier videos and also news.
Also trending, the world famous Malian nonuplets have celebrated their first birthday today. Remember the 9 babies were born on 4 May 2021 and have now achieved the guinness world for the most children at a single birth to survive π.
Anyways , as the evening set in, I had my ginger tea β and then stepped out for the sunset πβοΈπ
walk. As always slow paced enjoying the cool evening breeze π. Around the neighborhood, then the park π² and back.
