Hello everyone 👋,
Happy Monday 🎉 and a very warm welcome to my world 😊. I am definitely grateful for this new week and this day too. As it comes to an end, am raring to go with my stepping activities as well as some of the stories that caught my eye 👀. Let's dive in 💨.
So I had two major walks, starting off early with fast paced morning session. I brisk walked around the neighbourhood. I did enjoy that fresh morning breeze🍃. Then I was back indoors for the usual household chores. later in the afternoon, I stopped by the shopping center then was back home for some cooking followed by the usual nap. In between I did check out some trending news and watched some you tube. Finally I finished off the day with the slow paced evening walk in the cool evening breeze.
So what's been trending. Locally, the usual political shenanigans kept going 😹. Otherwise a quiet day
On the continent, warring factions in Sudan say they will abide by a week long ceasefire which begins tonight. The ceasefire will allow citizens trapped in certain places to leave, it will also allow relief food and other services to be distributed.
Globally, Ukraine trending as the war in Bakmut raged on. Ukrainian forces are advancing from north and south in a pincer movement, to sandwich the Russians in between😹.
Facebook's company Meta has been sued for $1.3 billion dollars by the EU for a breach in privacy law by sending user information to the US🙀. They have however said they will appeal that ruling.
Belarus trending as opposition blogger was pardoned🎉. He was pulled off an air Ryan plane and jailed in 2021 causing uproar but now will be released.
Finally, Real Madrid football club have lodged a hate crime complaint after player Vinicius Junior was targeted with racist abuse in last night's Valencia game🙀.
