Before.....After!!!😲
If you guys saw some of my posts a while back, these wooden boxes were custom made for the benches along some of Keith and Lynne’s hiking trails.
They have comment books inside, with pen and pencils to just reflect and jot down anything you are thinking about on your hike!😊
I was concerned about the Northwest Weather. These are made from wood from this forest.....Suddenly they were gone!
The Sun was out today, so I went hiking and I looked to see if all three comment boxes were missing....
This was the first day in a long time that I actually caught my shadow in the third photo!😎
Someone up ahead.....
It was Lynne, she informed me that water was still leaking into the wooden boxes, that a friend had crafted. He is trying to think of a way to waterproof this wood.
That’s a tough call, I suggested a copper lid, but they want the look of wormwood, and Big Leaf Maple to stand out.
If they can’t find a fix they will pull the boxes, and put them back in the Spring.
The Mrs was getting off work early today, it’s Friday yeah!!!🤗
I knew we had a busy evening, with music practice for Sunday.
Yes we are back at home doing Facebook live Sunday morning.....
Will this Corona ever end???
So I solo hiked again ....
Then the Mrs said “Are we hiking?”
Wow 141 uphill floors that is a record!🤗
