The calm after the storm........
100 MPH winds up on the pass last night.
Thousands without power today......
My Son and his Wife live close to the Mountain pass down by Seattle, and he was texting Mom and Dad this morning..........
“Do you guys have power?🤔”
We had winds that shook the house last night, it sounded like someone was body slamming the walls!😳
I had just repaired the rooftop TV antenna guy wires, I am so glad I did!
My son was telling us the wind damaged the electric transmission wires or towers.
The local electric company said that this might be a long power outage!😲
I just got another text with a photo of a generator, he said they were selling out quick! When he paid for his, they only had three left......They had 13 on hand this morning!
Then Sunshine!!!!!😎
Yes we have power, both solar and backup grid!🤗
I spent the morning Crypto trading, then firewood cutting, and my ASIC Crypto miners were taking advantage of Sunshine as well!
I had to grab a hike in the afternoon it was too nice to pass up!
I passed two of my neighbors, doing the same thing enjoying the day!
Tomorrow is supposed to be a carbon copy of today as well......Just without the wind!😀
