That’s a sad look!😲
Up early this morning, Silvertop and Liz were leading Worship…….from home!
I wondered how our Church and the valley towns of Sumas, Everson, and Nooksack were doing.
This morning found us checking on river depth, and trying to watch the Canadian border live traffic cameras….for water over the roads.
The waters were rising as we started our Facebook live broadcast from home. When we finished the music, we signed off, and then Pastor Chad signed in for today’s sermon, from his safe location! He said the water had not made it to our Church yet……….
Being safe, I am glad he canceled in person Church, many including us could have been stranded!😮
We probably are cut off again from town, that’s OK, we are always prepared living up in the foothills of the Mountains!😇
Day two of very heavy rain, and no hiking……..
I think Cot in the last photo has the right idea, stay dry inside!😻
One of my coworkers from my previous job before I retired, put out a Facebook video thanking someone for loaning him a 22,000 gal per hour trash pump. Jamie was pumping his Mom’s crawlspace out.
So many people in need…….
Pastor Chad was talking about faith…….
With the river this afternoon now above flood stage again and still rising, we all need to have faith that the rain will slow, and the waters go down.
As I type this post Liz just informed me that the homes behind the Everson middle school are now under water……again!😟
No one expected this a second time…….
Our Prayers go out to the many valley residents………

It breaks my heart for these folks, having to go through this a 2nd time and in 2 weeks as well! I think tomorrow will find us with more information about the water levels. I'm praying a a break for all these people! 🙏🤗💕
