The Christmas Season has started!
We woke up early today, the day after Thanksgiving, to a cold drizzling rain……..😲
“ Come on Phoenix, Silvertop doesn’t want to go for a walk either”……..😇
We both trudged outside……..
She quickly finished, and ran back inside!😅
Liz had a Coffee roasting customer order to fill, and take to the Post Office.
“It’s nasty outside today Liz, after you Mail the Coffee, we could drive to town and I could pick up some more electrical parts, and you could shop!”😇🥰
The snow level on Sumas Mountain is starting to drop, that’s how it starts!
Look at the third photo, outside the Post Office in town. Just the top of the Mountain is lightly covered in snow!
As it gets colder, the snow level will drop!
Down in Bellingham, the Oak trees line the streets. They hold onto their leaves, sometimes till the next Spring!
We passed Christmas tree lots on the way.
Fewer stores have “live Christmas trees” for sale anymore, and the average price is running $7.00 a foot…….$56.00 for an eight foot tree!😳
After I picked up more wire, and parts, Liz wanted to check out the “Upstairs” at Hardware Sales.
Silvertop needs a new pair of insulated work, bib, overalls, and the Mrs went looking through the many closely packed isles.😊

This has become the “norm” when shopping! If you need something, and it’s in stock, you better buy it!😇
We got back home to find Phoenix extremely excited to see Mom and Dad!🥰
She “hiked” Silvertop till HE was tired, and then SHE decided we could go back inside Lol!😊
Completely content, Phoenix is now asleep by my side as I write this post!🥰
Rest girl…….. you had a very busy day today!🥰

Strange to read Christmas trees are paid per foot. Here in my part if Germany it's just small medium and large with large ones being 35.99€ which nowadays is roughly the same in $
But isn't it nice to see all this Christmas decorations? Now all we need is a lot of snow 😂

We moved to the Pacific Northwest from the High country of Colorado, where we drove snowmobile's up into the Mountains and cut our own Christmas tree....It was so much Family fun!!🤗
Last day for Phoenix! She will miss your hikes.
Yeah, sometimes you have to buy it when you find it on the shelves. They don't always have specialized clothing!

I was thinking when we got past Covid things would go back to normal, but the supply chain is not working very well. If you think you need it soon, you better buy it when it's on the shelf, right down to peanut butter at Walmart Lol!😇😀
